1971 SeaArk – 65 foot crew boat 

 

1971 SeaArk – 65 foot crew boat. Aluminum hull and super structure. 18 foot beam (width), 28 foot air draft above water and approximately 5 foot draft below water. Main deck has the bridge, eating area, crew area, and storage. Below deck has a berthing area that currently sleeps two and can easily add two additional, galley, bathroom with shower and toilet, closet, engine room and mechanic room. Bridge has an older Furuno radar and plotter, Computer based navigation system with cameras, Older VHF radio, Ship to shore AIS, Map/Chart Desk with drawers, Bridge/Cabin has temperature control and Structural Blue prints on board. Engines: Twin Detroit Series 60 Diesel Engines – hours 10,000 and 415 (one engine was rebuilt prior to us receiving the boat), two Generators 17kw and 13.5 kw. Both engines have been realigned with prop shafts (to reduce excessive wear), Main engine impellers replaced. New starboard engine exhaust fan. Oil/ transmission/anti-freeze changes – within last 50 hours including generators and engines, New Oil and fuel filters. Outside: EPIRB Electronic position indicator radio beacon, 18 foot by 12 foot bimini, Dual 48 inch open array radar, Winlass cap/stan – needs fixed – anchor and line is in position and useable, Dive platform, Fiberglass stairs for dockside boarding, Lifejackets – Over 40 – including child size, Black/Gray/Fresh water tanks all in working condition, Shore power cable, 12 man life raft that is out of date. Lazarette Area: Twin 600 gallon fuel cells and Vertical controls / steering - rudder controls Repairs/Maintenance: Hull was sandblasted to bare metal Nov 2021, New bottom paint Nov 2021, Both prop shafts removed and straightened, Hull cleaning maintained most recent was Apr 2023, New shaft seals installed, New cutlass bearings installed, Both props rebalanced, Turbo rebuilt on port side engine, After cooler on both engines pulled cleaned and pressure tested, Fire suppression system has been inspected and updated, New zincs installed around the boat and New trim tabs. **Export Control – Buyer must be aware that this vessel may fall under export control, requiring buyer to be a U.S. citizen and not sold overseas. **Boat can only be seen Monday through Thursday by an advance scheduled appointment due to security and boat location.
