Under no circumstances is Auctioneer liable for consequential orpunitive damages. * SHIPMENTS must be sent to the billing address of the card holder. or the FFL Dealer address on license, No Charge for NICBC (Background) Checks for firearms picked up at Hessney Auction Co. that are purchased AT OUR Auction. * If you fail your background check you will NOT get a refund, you can consign it to a future auction. *NOTE: New York State law requires that a National Instant Criminal Background Check must be completed prior to all firearm sales or transfers, including sales or transfers of rifles or shotguns. The sale of transfer of a firearm, rifle or shotgun at a gun auction without first conducting a Background Check is a crime. ** If you are tax exempt you MUST notify us prior to the close of the auction, along with a copy of the form, if not you will be charged tax. We cannot remove tax once the card has been processed.
