Auctions by Cooper presents:  The historical estate auction of the former Willim estate on Saturday May 13th at 10:00 a.m.

Located 4 Miles West of Vanceburg

1180 Big Sulphur Road, just off AA Highway, approximately 20 miles east of Maysville, KY.

We will be selling the former Willim estate. The Willim family came to Lewis county Kentucky in the early 1800s from England and settled on the massive tract of land known as big sulfur. Being successful farmers, business leaders, and moguls of their time, they owned and operated many of the first businesses to include banks, newspapers, mills, just to name a few.

This will be a rare opportunity for Kentucky and Lewis county historians to see one of the last plantation style homes and contents in our area. It is packed with local pictures, ledgers, and newspapers from the 1800s through the 1970s, among many other treasures.

Extremely rare life size dapple grey display horse for saddle or harness shop.  Made with cast iron legs and ears, and paper mache body.  This item measures 66 inches tall by 60 inches long by 16 inches wide.  This was used in the Tannian and Pollitt Harness Shop as featured in the August 8th 1905 edition of the Vanceburg Sun, Vanceburg KY.  You will never have the chance to buy a rarer and original Vanceburg KY piece of history like this again.

Items to be included:  Rare Kentucky cherry sugar desk with two drawers with drop front desk and bookcase top, outstanding Kentucky Walnut blind door corner cabinet. These two pieces reportedly made from trees from the farm.  Super two piece walnut plantation desk with drop front desk and bookcase top, beautiful Victorian knock-down wardrobe with mirror doors and highly carved, fancy high back Victorian Walnut bed, mahogany music cabinet, carved lift lid Hall seat with oval mirror and hooks, marble top commode, mahogany upright piano, early 7 drawer chest, mahogany library table, early walnut lift top commode.  Very ornate Foster and maple Victorian parlor stove complete, fancy Victorian Walnut marble insert dresser, early stool in old green paint, outstanding five leg square oak harvest table with full rack of leaves, super set of six matching press back oak chairs, ornate high back Oak sideboard with mirror, hard to find fancy Walnut Eastlake twin bed. Early old blue painted dry sink table, old red painted desk, several rocking chairs in many styles, Queen Anne vanity, Maddox governor Winthrop desk with bookcase top, radios and radio cabinets, large Victorian Walnut pier mirror, oak drop leaf table, two cedar wardrobes, 10 fancy oak Church pews, several trunks, flat top and rounded top with inserts, nice two-piece oak bedroom set (high bed and wash stand), carved oak hall seat mirror with hooks, early rope bed, Walnut vanity, 8 piece mid-century modern dining set, (table china cabinet and six chairs), several oak and walnut treadle sewing machines and much more.

Early farm - primitives – smalls:  two sets floor scales, large amount of hand rived tobacco sticks, crosscut saws, buck saws, old red wooden wheelbarrow, two high wheel 

plows, six antique sleds, wood pulleys, large sawmill blades, New Old stock wood wagon wheels, crate of New Old stock wood wagon wheel spokes, nesting boxes, live trap and steel traps, square and round wash tubs, milk and cream cans, old decorative metal gates.  Bee boxes, several Crocks and jugs 1 from Johnstown Pennsylvania, granite ware blue and white, red and white, and green and white bee smoker, 5 stove dampers, several sets of hames and other horse related items, two early farrier boxes, brass bug sprayer, hard to find wood washing machine, one wheel coffee grinder, cast iron cookware, scarce wood shaft golf clubs, several early locks some brass, large lot of early doorknobs, porcelain service station lights and bracket, ice tongs, lard presses, Dixon corn sheller, early levels and planes, Ford hand tools (for Model A or T).  The most complete DELAVAL number 12 cream separator I've seen, champion forge blower and tongs, wheat cradle, reel type mowers, Dazey glass butter churn, Texaco, Standard, International Harvester, Chevron and more advertising tins, boxes, cans and copper boiler, gumball machine, blue granite and cast iron cook stove, wall mounted flour sifter, glass battery jar, early chick incubator, Apple press, corn chopper, several hand stitched quilts, gas lights, large gas hall light with opalescent swirled shade, two action lamps, Ray Boone pencil of Washington school, porcelain doll, vintage clothes, wash set, pitchers, bowls, blue willow dishes, depression glass.
