In the late 1800's the new industrialism brought much wealth to the City of Philadelphia.  1430 North Broad Street was built in 1892 for $55,000 for Charles Ellis, a trolley car magnate. In 1952 it became the home of the International House/Peace Mission of Father Divine, now known as the Palace Mission Church.  Located on a 10,000 square foot lot, street to street, the mansion consists of a 9,000 square foot multi floor brownstone. The property also includes a carriage house and an interior courtyard and garden.  Historically recognized, it is one of the few remaining untouched mansions that once lined Broad Street in the late 1800's. Impeccably appointed throughout, it has been maintained since built and its grander remains to this very day.
