In the event that any reserve price of a lot is not exceeded by any bidder's bid, SGS, at its sole discretion, with or without the knowledge of or notice to any bidder, may reduce any reserve price to an amount below the bid of the bidder at any time during an auction and accept the bid made by the bidder. Reserve prices are confidential information of SGS and are not always disclosed to bidders unless specifically stated as such during bidding. Nothing contained in any listing shall be construed to disclose any reserve price unless otherwise stated. In the unlikely event that we lose our internet connection, SGS reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to cancel the remainder of the auction. PAYMENT: All payments shall be completed using the CurrencyPay "View/Pay Invoice" link within each Settlement email. Once a bidder wins an item or items, they will receive an Invoice asking them to pay the full amount by following the link provided "View/Pay Invoice". No Personal Checks, Money Orders, or Cashiers' Checks are allowed, as these types of payments have to be mailed, received, then cleared by the banks before the release of funds occurs, causing large delays to all parties involved. ACH or Wire Transfers will be required for any invoice for all new SGS Auction bidders, or a bidder with a low Bidder Score. Any and all charge-backs or credit card disputes will be logged into the auctioneer's system and reported throughout the country for all other auctioneers to view. In summary; if you don't plan to pay for your purchased item, DON'T BID! Recording a non-pay will greatly damage your Bidder Score. In short, if the customer does their part and pays promptly, their funds should clear within 24-hours. Once the funds clear the bank, SGS will ship. SHIPPING & HANDLING Due to Customers & Tariff issues, SGS will not continue to ship to Canada. All U.S. shipping & handling is performed in-house by SGS. No local pick-up options are available at this time. Shipping & Handling Fees are generally shown within the invoice received. Once payment has been received within the accounting system, those funds are not released for up to 24 hours. Once payments are cleared, the shipment generally occur within one business day. Any grading or authentication by any third party, including any statements made on certificates of authenticity, grading certificates, valuation certificates, certificates of appraisal, gemological laboratory reports, or any similar reports or valuations are exclusively the opinions of the authors and are not the opinions or statements of SGS. Bidder understands that SGS has not verified any such statements or opinions and does not warrant their accuracy. Bidder relies exclusively on Bidder's own investigation and information and assumes all risk of any inaccuracy in statements or opinions expressed by others. By entering any SGS Auction, the Customer has agreed that no Credit Card Dispute/s will be filed, and that all transactions are final. Bidder shall not dispute, challenge, issue a "Chargeback" or reverse any such payment or charge. Any action at law or judicial proceeding instituted by any Party relating to this Agreement shall be instituted and maintained only in the state or federal courts in Shelby County, Kentucky. This Online Only auction requires that all invoices (including shipping & handling) are paid within 36-hours of the Auction Close, or 24-hours from issuance of Invoices. The name and address on the credit card must match the name and address on the account. SGS can accept credit card payments over the phone but written permission is required. If you need to change your payment method after the auction date you may be required to either mail a cashier's check or pay by ACH or Wire Transfer. Everything will be sold "as is, where is", with no guarantees of any kind, regardless of the statement of condition made by all others. Buyers shall rely entirely on their own inspection and information. Statements on Certificate(s), Authenticity, Grading Certificates, Valuation Certificates, Certificates of Appraisal, Gemological Lab Reports, and the like (collectively referred to herein as COA) are the opinion of the company or entity which issued the COA and not those of SGS. The bidder's sole responsibility is to verify the claims made on said COA before placing any bids on that item. No refunds will be given due to disputes over the validity of information contained on COA(s). Grading and authentication is not an exact science, and it is possible that two people do not always grade or evaluate the same item alike. Any stated grade or condition or estimated value represents the opinion of the third-party professional whose opinion is quoted in the item(s) description. Lots that are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from a third-party authenticator are not eligible for return. Absolutely no exceptions will be made regarding this policy. Given the opinionative nature of autograph authentication, autographed items that are accompanied by the Third-Party Authentication(s) listed with a lot represent the opinion of the third-party professional, and no further warranties or guarantees of opinion from outside authenticators, or so-called "experts", is being implied or guaranteed in any way. LOTS MAY NOT BE RETURNED BASED ON A DIFFERENCE OF OPINION IN GRADING OR AUTHENTICATION. It is ultimately the Bidder's responsibility to arrive at a final conclusion on their level of satisfaction with authenticity PRIOR to bidding. Please do not bid on a lot if you are not comfortable with the stated authentication(s) that accompany a lot. Every effort is made to "guard" merchandise throughout the auction; however, the bidder becomes solely responsible for all items purchased, immediately following their winning bid. If you would like your item shipped to an address other than your billing address you will be required to overnight a Cashier's Check or pay by ACH or Wire Transfer for the full invoice amount.
