Rabun County Board of Education has declared surplus the following property and it will be sold to the highest/best bidder:

Metal Building, 60'W x 100'L x 14'H with (4) 12' x 12' roll up doors and (3) personnel doors.

Mfg. by United Structures of America. Erected new in 1991.

Previously used as Transportation Maintenance Facility and then High School Ag Barn.

Everything left in the building when it is released by the owner for removal will be the property of the successful bidder.

Some items in pictures are not included as the county still in the process of cleaning out.

Bid is for building, wooden structures inside, electrical and plumbing.

The successful bidder must remove the building, along with any debris or unwanted contents associated with the removal of the building, within 30 days from bid closing.

A cash security deposit of $2500 dollars will be required prior to starting the removal and will be returned, in its entirety, upon the slab/site being clean after removal and job completed within the 30 day time period specified.

A final inspection of the site must by performed by the Rabun County Board of Education before the site is vacated and the security deposit returned.Successful bidder must provide proof of insurance, which shall include both general and liability insurance.

A hold harmless certificate must be signed, prior to beginning work, by the successful bidder. Successful bidder must comply with all OSHA, State EPA, and any other State of Georgia regulatory requirements deemed necessary for this project.

Successful bidder is responsible for all equipment and incidentals required in the demolition, removal, hauling, disposal, and cleanup of this project site.

The Rabun County Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive technicalities.
