Highlights/Auctioneers Notes:

I am pleased to show you a lifetime collection of railroad memorabilia. This gentleman started his collection when he was three years old. You can tell by lot number one! The Cor-Cor train is rare!  Their family grew up around Newton Kansas. This was the home of the Santa Fe Railroad. His mom worked at the rail mill as secretary and kept everyone in check! As he grew older he worked for the railroad and later for Boeing and retired from there. That begin a further interest in building his displays.   The Railroad display that he collected filled two full rooms in his basement!  The first one is dedicated to O gauge. The second one is dedicated to HO scale. As I was cataloging things I was very careful to remove all the parts and pieces that were in that photo. Only the rail, track, rail bed and surface were not included in any lot. They were there for display purposes only. Everything was used up until two years ago and should be considered in good working order. I have noted items that were only used for display or that are in parts. Any buildings that were used in the displays were carefully removed and you may notice a piece that might have come off. Any items that are loose in the bag were considered by many to be reusable or glued back on.  Shipping is available for the smalls.  Please contact me before bidding if you are going to want your items shipped.

** LOCAL PICKUP PREFERED – SHIPPING IS AVAILABLE **
Shipping is Available for the “smalls”.  We will not ship framed art, furniture or any large pieces.  We will work with your 3rd party pack & ship or transport if needed.  Please contact the auctioneer, Dave Dvorak with any questions prior to bidding.  If you cannot make the pickup days, please call me ahead of time to make arrangements and/or payment over the phone.  Any Delivery and/or special accommodations will incur a fee.  Most everything is already boxed and gathered up for pickup.  Do bring totes, boxes, packing material if you have big, assorted lots.  Do bring helpers, tools and/or furniture dolly if you think you may need it.  Please don’t rely on us to move your items for you.  If you don’t have help, what staff we have onsite gladly accept tips.  Any unpaid items that are not picked up will be forfeited.
