All items are offered and sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with all faults. 6. NOTICE: Reed's Auction Company will not be able to hold any items for pick up beyond the stated times. 7. The Estate of the late George Griffith of Ligonier Online Auction PICK UP SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2022 FROM 9:00AM-NOON PREVIEW TIME CHANGED TO 3:30PM-5:30PM DUE TO DARKNESS, DATE REMAINS THE SAME MONDAY, NOV. 14, 2022 Incredible collection of English and European style Antiques, Artwork and Furnishings George Griffith was a highly recognized Horticulturist who specialized in aquatic Lilies. Mr. Griffith served the White House as florist artist for state dinners and the Presidential Christmas celebrations during four different presidential terms. He was a consultant to Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens for the installation of their water lily pools. In 2016 Penn State University honored this alumni by naming the Lotus Pool after him. As owner of The Flower Barn in Johnstown for over 50 years, he became a well known part of the community. His artistic style shows true in his rustic farm house. This home was decorated and furnish with a classic Americana and traditional style combined with an array of European accent pieces.
