A LIVE benefit event will take place at the Lakeside Ballroom in Glenwood, MN on April 23rd from 10 AM to 1 PM. All of the items will be present at Lakeside Ballroom during the live event for inspection and/or pick-up. Auctioneer Notes: This is a benefit auction for a family. If you are not prepared to pay for your item, DO NOT BID! THE AUCTION WILL START TO CLOSE AT 12:00(NOON), WITH TWO ITEMS ENDING EVERY MINUTE. This will allow time for all of the bids to be finished and get invoices ready by the time the live benefit ends. Even if you are at the live event, ALL bids still take place online. There will be help available at the live event if you are unsure as to how the process works. Shipping options will be available for winning bidders who can not be present at the live event. All shipping arrangements and payments will be made via Northwoods Auction Co. LLC. The bidder is responsible for shipping/handling cost. All of our Auctions will close using an extended bidding format. This feature allows the auction to function like a live auction by extending the time for (3) minutes on any item that has active bidding within the last minute of that item closing. It also allows customers with slower computer connections a fair opportunity to bid by eliminating the bidders that use computer sniping software to place bids within the last second of an auction, out bidding you. A Maximum Bid may be placed when bidding on an item (this is sometimes called a "proxy bid"). A Maximum Bid is confidential and will be used by our system to increase your bid automatically in case you are outbid by another user. Our system will only bid high enough to outbid the current high bidder, according to the minimum bid increment (increase). This can be a very nice feature because it allows the system to bid on your behalf, so you don't have to constantly monitor an auction. THIS EVENT WILL NOT INCLUDE A BUYER'S PREMIUM ON ANY OF THE ITEMS. YOUR ENTIRE BID AMOUNT WILL GO DIRECTLY TO THE FOSS FAMILY.
