IF YOU READ NOTHING ELSE, READ THIS!
This is a timed closing auction. Not every item ends exactly at 7:00pm on 4/7. Starting at 7:00pm, the first 3 lots will start to close. At 7:01 the next 3 lots will start to close. At 7:02 3 more lots will start to close and so on until all lots have closed out at about 9:00pm, 2 hours after the auction first started to close. If you or anybody else bids within the final 2 minutes of the close on any given lot, the bidding will automatically extend for another 2 minutes to allow other bidders to place a counter bid. This will continue until there is no further bidding activity within a 2 minute time frame. This is by design and that's what makes it a true auction. If you want to be the successful high bidder then you have to be the person who is willing to bid the highest; it's not possible to "snipe" the bid. If you have any questions at all, please call me, I'm happy to explain it.
Bidding Tips When you click on the bid bar, (and then click again to "confirm bid") you are placing a bid for the next automatic increment. If you click on the down arrow on the right side of the bar you can select from Create Maxbid which will let the computer automatically place your bids for you up to but not past the amount you enter. This works like the live auction absentee bid and is entirely automatic after you place you maximum bid.

If you have questions, ASK!

271
1900s Oak lamp table
Original finish. 30x29x22

272
Wicker baby buggy
I know these aren't the hottest segment of the antiques market but  it's rare to find one in this clean of condition right down to the cloth curtain. With wood spoke wheels and porthole side lights, it's pretty nice. The worst that could be said is that the tires are cracked.

Heinrich Harder 43x34

288
Irish Regency revival convex sea serpent framed mirror
This piece was originally purchased through a high end interior decor catalog. It wasn't inexpensive. Frame is carved mahogany with a patinated, gilt finish. It is quite heavy and measures 30"W x 34"H x 4.5"D. I was unwilling to take a straight on photo because short, wide me became downright comical when reflected in a convex mirror

289
Jim Beam merchandising display
Unlike most retail display pieces this stand is well built and designed for the long haul. Full shelving on both sides. In an effort to make yourself more efficient and productive, this stand will keep your alcohol at the ready. Neutral color scheme lends itself to living room, bedside or office use. One top panel has been repaired. 66x16x14

293
Art Deco Roper Gas range
As apartment size gas ranges go, this one's a beaut. I found it in the hired man's kitchen on an Ozaukee County farm where it had been sitting since it was installed new. I don't usually encourage consignors to bring old gas ranges but something about this one is appealing. It's in remarkably good condition and with a bit of elbow grease this will be cooking again in no time. It's currently plumbed for propane/LP and was hooked up when I found it. 22x42x29

Water stains. 42x32 oa

298
Framed charcoal portraits of a baby and a man
.

299
A solid, cherry and birdseye maple chest of drawers
What's unusual about this piece is that the birdseye drawer fronts are solid, plank birdseye, not veneer. There's a chip to the backsplash and those Godawful pulls need to be replaced but this will be a very handsome piece when it's finished.46"

300

One is butternut and fitted with a lock. The original finish is alligatored and it could use some tightening but it's a nice piece. The other is pine, finger joint construction, original finish with several decorations including a spoon carved skirt. What sets this piece apart is the mechanical, wooden combination lock; something I've never seen before on a dresser box. It does need the engaging pawl repaired and there is a chip out of the front, left corner on the lid. A great piece.
