Amboseli Crossing, Legacy Reserve Collection, 1994, Photograph Signed in Gold Frame
[DESCRIPTION] Thomas D. Mangelsen, Amboseli Crossing is Thomas's most engaging and celebrated photograph. The Elephants are depicted as they march across a drowsy grassland in Kenya's famous Amboseli National Park. This iconic scene with these magnificent animals is both soothingly powerful and hauntingly sad at once; for it reminds us of their ever-diminishing numbers in our world today. It also pays tribute to Joyce -- matriarch for what has come to be known as "JA Family" or "the group."
