Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. retains the right to govern goods and services sold to clients and to maintain the level and integrity of our business. Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. has the right to terminate the auction at any time; withdrawal from sale of any item; to sell at this auction items not listed; to group one of more lots into one or more selling lots or to subdivide into two lots or more selling lots. The auction company also reserves the right to sell all of the items listed in bulk.
Payment:
a) All payments will be required to be paid for with the credit card on file after auction is complete.
b) Buyer's Premium is 13% Online
c) Buyer specifically waves the right to dispute or deny payment for any purchases made with a credit card.
d) No items will be removed until they have been paid for. Purchaser is responsible for removal of all purchased goods. No abandonment of purchased items is allowed. All abandoned items will be sold for storage and moving fees.
e) Any gold & silver coins, precious stones and fine jewelry that are to be shipped anywhere will require wire transfer for payment.
Loading Equipment:
a) Buyer is responsible for their own removal of all items. Please bring any packing material and boxes that you may need. Please bring assistance to move heavy items to your vehicle and any tools for dismantling.
Pick up of Items:
a) All items must be on the scheduled pick up-date.
b) Outside of the Base Road Location-All Items must be picked up on the scheduled pick-up times. If they are not, they will be considered abandoned and become the possession of Harmeyer Auction, No Refund will be issued (10/7/2020)
c) Base Road Location: Any item remaining in our building 7 days after the scheduled auction pick up will be considered abandoned and become the possession of Harmeyer Auction, No Refund will be issued (10/7/2020)
No Liability:
a) Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. assumes no liability for your purchases. The buyer assumes and does agree to indemnify and hold the auction company and seller harmless from any future claim that shall pertain to fitness or use of the asset being purchased.
b) Persons attending during exhibition, sale or removal of goods assume all risks of damage or loss to person and property and specifically release and indemnify the Auction Company from liability therefore. Neither the Auction Company nor his principal or seller shall be liable by reason of any defect in or condition of the premises in which the sale is held. Consignors & Bidders: a) All consignors must fill out a contract with Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC., sign forms and abide by our terms listed.
b) All bidders must register for bidder's numbers using proper ID or proper information.
c) Any employee of Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. may bid at any auction if they wish to purchase an item.
d) All items become the sole responsibility of the purchaser when the auctioneer confirms your bid as the successful winner. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
e) If there is any dispute between two or more bidders, the auction company or its' auctioneer, may decide the successful bidder. The decision of the auction company, or its' auctioneer, shall be final and absolute.
Loss of Bidding Privileges:
a) If you have failed to pay for an item your bidding privileges will be revoked. Your privileges may be restored by paying for the item or repaying for the loss of the revenue due to the items not having been sold and by placing a credit card on permanent file whereby future purchases will automatically be charged.
Delinquent Accounts:
a) The bidder that has not paid for, or has not removed their items from the auction site, will be subject to the cost of storage, trucking, re-sale, deficiency balances, collection fees, and any legal fees for recouping a loss due to the bidder's negligence.
Reserves:
a) Any and all items that Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. agrees to sell are subject to a reserve as per Indiana State Auction Law.
Documents:
a) All documents must be completed in full by buyers and sellers. For Example: Death Certificates, Letters of Authority, Creditor Leins, and UCC's when purchasing vehicles, firearms, etc.
b) All gun buyers will be required to fill out a 4473 form and pass a background check. Out of state buyers will be required to have any and all guns shipped to an FFL (Federal Firearms License) Dealer.
Compliance with the Terms of Sale:
a) In default of payment of bills in full within the time announced for this auction the Auction Company in addition to all other remedies allowed by law, may retain all monies received as deposit or otherwise, as liquidated damages.
b) Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. is in complete accordance with Indiana statutes and Indiana Administrative codes, Title 25, Title 812, Department of Revenue Tax Bulletin #20, and Reference IC 6-2-4.
Warranties:
a) Everything is sold "AS IS/WHERE IS" with no warranties, representation or guarantees expressed, implied or otherwise given. All sales are final.
Conditions of Items Sold:
a) All information is believed to be accurate, but the auction company shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness of or defect in any lot, and makes no warranty in connection therewith.
No allowance will be made or sale set aside on account of any incorrectness, error in cataloging or any imperfection not noted. No deduction will be allowed on damaged articles as all goods being exposed for public exhibition are sold "as is" and without recourse. Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. requires any and all buyers to preview and make your own opinion of conditions.
Auctioneers have the right to refuse service or eject any person obstructing the auction process.
The record of sale kept by the Auction Company, the audio tape of the auction and the bookkeeper records will be taken as final in the event of any dispute.
Shipping/Pick up
a)All items must be paid for prior to pick up or shipping of the item
b)Pick up will be scheduled the following day after closing of the auction unless otherwise noted
c)If items are to be shipped the buyer will first pay for the item at the close of the auction. Then after payment has been made the items will be boxed and packaged for a fee of $5 per box. Then the card will be charged again for the shipping & handling fees and the items will then be shipped.
d)If the card is declined for the shipping fees the buyer will be notified and items will not be shipped until the shipping is paid in full.
e) if items are not picked up on the scheduled pick-up day, they may be considered forfeited, and no refund will be made.
f) If an item is shipped and damaged the buyer is responsible to file for all insurance claims
g) if an item is to be returned that will be done at the buyer's expense.

Due to the passing of Mr Don Greene we have been asked to sell his personal property. The real estate has sold and items will need to be picked up day of pick up November 13th from 10am-4pm. Some discoloration and paint peeling on seat. Measures 27" L X 14" W x 19" T 2 Cast Iron Decor Two very nice pieces of cast iron decor, first piece appears to be a music or book stand, with a hen and chick motif. Also in lot is a small wall type hanging of flowers. Stand measures 15" W x 10" T and flowers & vase measure 9.5" T x 7" W 3 Pair of Sitting Chairs This lot features two straight back chairs, older design and need recovered. There is some wear and damage to the wood on these, seem to be sturdy but do need a little TLC. Measure 33" T at back, 28" W and 16" T at seat. 4 Misc Wood Lot A small lot of misc wood, 2x4's, plywood, and other small and larger pieces of modern wood. 5 Mid-Century Modern Chest of Drawers Smaller Mid Century Modern style chest of drawers, is a lighter duty set, these are tacked connections, top drawer does need some repair as the face is coming away from the drawer. Is complete, good color and condition. Measures 45.5" T x 32" W x 1... 6 Frames Huge assortment of both modern and vintage picture and mirror frames. All are varying sizes. There is a large set of gold colored modern frames, appear new and never used. Some great vintage frames as well, two do have mirrors in these. Great set... 7 New In Box Stanley Mirror This is a new in the box Stanley mirror, looks good, box states it measures 22" x 30", oval in shape 8 Copper Wire & Fish Tape A very nice selection of wiring, several gauges and all are partial rolls. Comes with Greenlee brand fish tape as well. Also, nice heady duty cord with three receptacles on one end, no plug. 9 Scrap Copper Wire Large, Large group of scrap copper wiring. Many different gauges, lengths and kinds. This is a 40 gallon trash barrel full of scrap pieces of wire, many could be used. 10 Florescent Light Bulbs Different lengths and types of florescent light bulbs, unsure of age, all appear to be good-non broken, assumed to be good. 11 Three Section Changing Screen Wooden framed changing screen, is in need of some repair, Measures 19" wide x 3 sections for 57" total width and 65" T 12 Rope Both nylon based and sissle rope, nice heavy lengths, large diameter and long lengths. 13 Fishing Rods & Reels Large selection of several rods and reels. Reels are attached to some rods, other rods are just rods. Appears to be several vintage type rods. 14 Snow Skis Several pairs of snow skis, unsure of age or condition, appears to be 3-4 pairs. 15 Older Jigsaw This is an older jigsaw, no name was found, does operate, will need new blade, comes with dolly for easy moving. 16 Wooden Rocking Chair Older but nice wooden rocking chair, is complete, appears to be good. Measures 41" at back x 20.5" W x 14" at seat 17 Wooden Coffee Table Dark colored wooden coffee table, does appear to need some repair, it is loose on the legs but complete and nice color. Some wear but not major wear or disrepair. Measures 49" L X 27" W X 17" T 18 Arjo Sara 2000 Lift This is a patient lift, unsure if complete or functioning. has not been tested. 19 Plastic Stools These are tall plastic cushioned stools, all seem to be sturdy. Would be great for the barn, shop or garage. 20 Rocker & Glider Foot Stool A frame for a rocker, and glider foot stool. No cushion on the rocker, solid frame and springs. Glider appears to work as it should. 21 Vintage Toddler Bed This appears to be a vintage toddler bed, looks to be good. Measures 53" L x 24" W x 11" T 22 Copper & Brass Scrap Small lot of several copper and brass scrap plumbing pieces. 23 Floor & Barn Jack Two nice smaller floor jacks, both do work, and older barn or railroad jack. 24 Electric Heaters Two electric heaters in this lot, neither have been tested. One is an oil type radiant heater while the other does have a core. 25 Jack Stands Three jack stands, one is a craftsman brand with no mate and is rated at 500 lbs, while the other matching set does not have rating. All appear to be in good working order. 26 Car Jacks Two different car jacks, there are two different styles and appear to be good but have not been tested. 27 Halogen Trouble Lights A nice set of halogen trouble or portable type lights. These have not been tested but do have cords and a large selection. There are base type and clamp type lights. Varying sizes as well. 28 Night Lights Another large quantity, these are halogen night lights and several with motion sensor or dusk to dawn sensors. Some of these do have plug ends and others have been or would need to be hard wired. These have not been tested. Very nice lot for secur... 29 Bulb Lights Small lot of bulb type lights, one is a fixture mount type, other is a clamp desk light and a swivel light are all included in lot. A couple head lamp type lots come along as well. 30 Life Vest Two different life or float vests, one is a true vest type made by Sterans, other is just an over the neck type. Both appear to be good. 31 Claw Foot Piano Stool A vintage adjustable piano stool, does have claw feet, is missing glass balls on the feet. It will rotate up and down, very nice vintage stool, has been painted. measures approx 20" T with a 14" seat. 32 Pittsburgh Mechanics Creeper A very nice, "like new", Pittsburgh brand mechanics creeper. Has all the casters and appears to be in like new condition, still has sticker, is made from plastic or poly. 33 Tackle Boxes Three older metal tackle boxes, do have some tackle in them. varying types of bait and other fishing related items. All boxes do close, some dents and dings. Getting the boxes and tackle. 34 Rods, Reels & Cart A nice selection of several rods, reels and a cart. Cart is hand built. Several different styles of rods and reels. 35 Exercise Equipment A selection of exercise equipment, comes with bicycle and other items. 36 Telephones & Microphones Includes two telephones, one is wireless and other is corded, also comes with two small microphones and Dish Network device. 37 Hand Painted Converted Electric Lamp A glass hand painted lamp, was oil and has been converted to electricity, has not been tested. Appears to be good with no chips or cracks, measures 19.5" tall 38 Straight Chairs Two office type or waiting room chairs, both appear good. Both are metal framed. 39 Desk Chairs Two desk type chairs, the blue colored is a school type cater chair, is good and rolls. Other chair is covered and rolls as it should, fairly heavy built. 40 Jazzy Power Chair A Jazzy brand power chair, has leg rests as well. Does come with charger and manual. It has not been tested or plugged in. 41 Campbell Hausfeld Air Compressor A modified Campbell Hausefeld air compressor, has been mounted to larger air tank for high capacity. Comes with hose, does roll and has not been tested. 43 Misc Electrical Items Large lot of several electrical items. has junction boxes, a small exhaust fan, wire nuts, boxes, and so much more. 44 Ground Lighting A quantity of ground lighting, they all appear to be wired in series. Have not been tested. 45 Porta-Power This is just the power pack for a porta-power, no attachments are included and this has not been tested. 46 Lawn Sprinklers A set of lawn sprinklers, different styles and kinds. Does include a small one that looks like a squirrel. 47 Plastic Fuel Cans Small lot of gas cans, some have lids others do not, one does have a small amount of fuel in it. All appear to be good. 48 Mid Century Modern Table A mid-century modern table, does have some stains and something on table top. Is two pieces and has metal legs and trim. Measures 40" L x 30" W x 29" T 49 Drafting Table This appears to be a drafting table with several tops or may bolt together for large table. Measures 50" W x 37" T (three sections of table top) 50 Beam Scale w/ Weights A very nice set of beam scales with weights. Appears to be complete. 51 Air Lot Small lot of several air related items. Comes with tire plugs and tire plugger, air hardware and more. 52 Wood Flooring Several pieces of wood flooring, varying lengths and kinds. Appears to have some trim included along with metal trim as well. 53 (2) Small Wooden Tables These identical tables, do have some discoloration and looks to have some finish coming off. They are sturdy and good. 54 Frigidaire Freezer Large up-right Frigidaire freezer, fairly clean, does have some mildew in the inside. When it was plugged the first time the compressor came on then the second it did not. 55 Metal Lawn Chair Very nice metal lawn type chair, made from expanded metal, very nice chair, measures 30" T at the back, 23.5" W x 18" at the seat. 56 Folding Chair & Stool A wooden stool with padded seat, in good condition, measures 29.5" to the top and then an older but good metal folding chair, does have some padding on the seat. 57 Edegestar AC Unit Small portable AC unit, does power on and appears to cool. This is a free standing unit, does vent out window. On caster wheels. 58 Wooden Cabinets This lot features two cabinets, the smaller black cabinet appears to be homemade, measurements are in photos. This appears to be have been used as a file box. Larger cabinet, appears to be vintage. has 4 drawers, no top on this cabinet. 20" L x 2... 59 Light Bulbs Nice selection of several incandescent type light bulbs. Varying sizes and wattage. 60 Vintage Dresser/Chest of Drawers Vintage dresser or chest of drawers. Top does have some discoloration and finish peeling. Hardware is complete, still sturdy and a solid piece. Dovetail construction, measures 40" L X 19" D x 30.5" T 61 Samsung Window AC Unit Smaller Samsung brand window AC unit, does power on and appears to cool. Settings on front of unit, measurements are in photos. Rated at 5,000BTU 62 Wooden Stand & Cabinet This lot has a mid-century modern octagon stand, has door in front of cabinet. Top is pressed wood and has some damage. Measures 28" in diameter, and 20" T. Also comes with small three drawer filing cabinet. This is also pressed wood, is missing ... 63 Cast Iron A nice cast iron pair, a kettle and pot both included. Kettle is marked Fisher Bros Louisville, KY. Kettle is No 8. Pot is not marked and measures 9" T x 11" W 64 KeroSun Kerosene Heater Older and smaller KeroSun brand kerosene heater, has not been tested and appears to comeplete. Radiant 10 model, does have small amount of fuel in heater, measures 16" L x 22" T 65 DVD & VHS Players A small lot of both DVD and VHS players. Comes with a small flat TV antenna as well. None of these have been tested. No remotes are included. 66 54" Vizio TV 54" Vizio Flatscreeen TV, does power on and screen appears to be good. It is a smart TV and comes with remote. 67 52" Samsung Flatscreen TV 52" Samsung brand TV, flatscreen, does power on, might be slight light color in middle of screen. When tested there was light coming through skylight in barn.
