Auction Terms & Conditions Terms and Conditions - To Bid and Buy
REGISTRATION & IDENTIFICATION: At the time of registration, we collect information about you through Hibid to verify who you are before you can bid. We collect credit card information to ensure that you are a qualified buyer. All bidders must be of legal age to bid.
PAYING FOR YOUR PURCHASES: There is no cost to register for an auction. Your credit card will not be charged unless you win. When an auction closes, if you are the winner, we will charge your credit card with the winning bid amount, plus applicable Buyers Premium and taxes, as stated in terms of auction. Credit Cards include Visa and Mastercard only. IF you wish to pay by etransfer instead - contact us before auction close to make arrangements.
REVIEWING YOUR BIDS: During an auction you can check the status of your bids at anytime. Note that no bids can be withdrawn after the auction for any reason. All items are sold as is, where is, with all faults.
BIDDING NOTIFICATIONS: You can choose to be notified by e-mail during the auction if you have been outbid. Please note that outbid notifications are NOT sent out during the last two hours of the sale.
WINNING NOTIFICATION & INVOICING: All winning bidders will receive an e-mail with an attached invoice after the auction closes. If you'd like to know whether you won a lot at the close of the auction, check your "bidder history" -- if it says "May Have Won" that means you are the high bidder on the lot. If you are not the high bidder, it will say "You have been outbid."
SHIPPING - Shipping is available on smaller items only. Your items must all fit into a box smaller than 12 x 12 x 12 in order to be shipped. Please state 'SHIPPING REQUIRED' in the notes to auctioneer section when first registering for each particular auction. There is a $10 handling charge ON TOP of the actual shipping cost for each box shipped. All charges must be paid by credit card or etransfer prior to shipping taking place. Shipping charges left unpaid from one week of email notification will be considered abandoned. At that time all item payments shall be forfeited and a $15 administration charge will be applied to the credit card on file.
PICKUPS & REMOVALS: Dates and times for pickup will be posted here and on our website. Unless shipping has been arranged, any item not picked up during the posted pickup times will be considered an abandoned item. Items are sold as is, where is, with all faults. If you abandon or fail to pick up an item, your credit card will still be charged for the purchase price of the item.
CONDITIONS OF ITEMS SOLD & OUR ONLINE CATALOGUE: Our best efforts are made to represent all items accurately in descriptions and photographs; however, all items are ultimately sold on an 'as is, where is' basis, with all faults. We strongly encourage all bidders to personally verify the condition of each item during the scheduled preview times. RESERVE: Seldom are items sold with Reserve. If an item is being sold with a reserve, it will be clearly marked and identified. For items sold with a 'reserve', you will be required to pay a minimum amount in order to win the item.
AUCTION RECORDS: In the unlikely event of a dispute, you agree to accept as true the information that we have in our records.
SOFT CLOSE: Items close at regular intervals. To prevent a bidder from 'sniping', all bids made in the last minute of the auction will force an item to stay open for an additional 1 minute. This will continue until all bidding has ceased. Most of our auction lots close in 15 second intervals.
STRATEGY: We recommend that ALL BIDDERS put in their maximum bid when placing a bid online. This does not mean you will have to pay the amount you bid; you only pay one bid more than the next highest bid, and only up to your maximum bid. The software system will play out the bids as you would at a live auction and only uses the funds required to beat out the under-bidder at the prescribed bid increment.
CATALOGUE ERRORS & OMISSIONS: If a description does not match a picture in a lot, the description takes precedence. All items are sold on an 'as is, where is' basis, with all faults.

Likely uranium glass but no black light available to test. Both in excellent condition. 3 8 Vintage Egg Cups Great mixed lot of 8 vintage ceramic and plastic egg cups. Very good condition. 6 Vtg Nut Meat Grinder with Jar Vintage jar top nut meat grinder made of metal. Screws on to the attached jar. Working and in very good condition. 7 Vtg Egg Beater with Pyrex Measuring Cup Vintage metal, double arm egg beater with intact lid to place on top of a bowl or measuring cup. Includes 2 cup Pyrex glass measuring cup. Both in excellent condition. 8 Vtg Onion Chopper and Flour Sifter Both come with glass receiving jars. Spring loaded onion chopper with wood base to protect the blade. Metal squeeze handle flour sifter with clear glass measuring cup. All in excellent vintage condition. 9 Sailboat Corner Shelf Unit Cute little two piece corner shelf unit in the shape of a sailboat. Measures 18.5" tall and 11.5" at widest. Two shelves. Also a Royal Albert 25th Anniversary tea cup and saucer set. All in excellent condition. 93 Royal Doulton Bunnykins Children's Bowl Very nice Bunnykins children's feeding bowl from Royal Doulton. Trademark on bottom says 1954 but unsure if that is when it was made or if it is newer. Expect older based on house contents. Excellent condition with no chips..just one minor discolorat... 94 Flower Frog Vase and Depression Glass Bowl Pair of pink depression glass pieces includes a small round vase with a flower frog lid. Lid does have a chip and some cracking but still usable. Also included is a pink glass 6" ruffled edge bowl in excellent condition. 95 Massive Cornflower Crystal Stemware Set Includes all the various sizes of wine and liqueur glass plus stemmed dessert bowls as well. At least 40 pieces in total of fine crystal with cornflower etched design. Would really prefer not to have to ship this set!
