Listing Terms and Conditions
Online Terms and Conditions - The items listed are available for online absentee bidding. Buyers who are unable to attend the live auction may make absentee bids online, and an auction staff member will bid at the live auction on your behalf. Online bidders must register and provide a valid credit card as proof of ability to pay. There will be a 10% buyers premium for online bidders only, which includes the credit card fees. Successful Missouri absentee bidders will also be charged sales tax at 8.425% unless a Missouri Sales Tax Letter is on file with the auctioneer. Successful online bidders will be notified by email, and will need to make arrangements with the auctioneer to pay for and pickup of their purchases. The auctioneer will request the credit card information for all successful bidders for payment. Listing of credit card information at registration is to provide proof of ability to pay to Hibid only. None of that information is available to the auctioneer. If shipping is required, all shipping and handling charges will be an additional charge to the buyer's credit card. All items are sold in their as-is condition. Online absentee bidding will end at 8:00 p.m. CDT on Friday, May 17th. We will not have internet available on auction day. We will not monitor email on May 18th or answer the phone during the auction. The online absentee bids collected at 8:00 p.m. CDT on May 17th will be taken to the live auction and bid accordingly at the auction. Bidders are responsible for fulfilling their bids, and paying for their items, if they result in the purchase of their item or items. The auctioneers and their staff are employed by the seller to sell these items at public auction. All sales are between the buyer and the seller. The auctioneers are acting as agents of the sellers only. Neither the sellers, auctioneers nor staff are responsible for accidents, thefts, or errors in advertising. Announcements made day of auction take precedence over advertisements. All items are sold in their as-is condition. Any and all descriptions and statements as to quality or condition of any item or items are the opinion of the auctioneer only. It is the buyer's responsibility to satisfy themselves as to the condition of the items they are bidding on. The auctioneer reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Auctioneers reserve the right to set bidding increments and lot and re-lot items prior to the fall of the gavel regardless of type of auction being conducted. Fractional increment advances may not be recognized as bids. Any listed or announced order of sale may be changed WITHOUT NOTICE by the auctioneer. Auctioneer may bid on behalf of absentee bidders. Unless otherwise indicated, all lots are offered subject to a reserve, which is the confidential minimum price below which such lot will not be sold. Reserves are agreed upon with the sellers or, in the absence thereof, in the absolute discretion of the auctioneers. The auctioneer may implement a reserve by opening bidding on any lot and/or by placing a bid on behalf of the seller. The auctioneer will not specifically identify bids placed on behalf of the seller. The auctioneer may further bid on behalf of the seller, up to the amount of the reserve, by placing successive or consecutive bids for a lot or by placing bids in response to other bidders. The winning bid in an auction will be the highest bid that exceeds any reserve (if a reserve exists). In the case of equal bids, the earliest bid received will be the winning bid. If a higher bid is subsequently withdrawn or removed then the auctioneer shall have the right to accept the next highest bid. All bids are in the form of United States Dollars only. You may contact the auctioneer by email at dean.vans81@gmail.com, or by phone at 816-261-1361.
