 One of our featured items this week is an antique writing desk with a lot of history behind it. This writing desk was a gift to David G. Ritchie upon him leaving his position at St. Andrews University in Scotland. Mr. Ritchie was an academic and author who wrote quite a few books on metaphysics, ethics and philosophy, all of which are still in print. This is a wonderful piece with a well-documented historical connection. It will sell with a reasonable reserve.

We also have an early 1900 violin, case and bows. This violin is in very good condition for its age, with the bridge and all strings in place. There are extra vintage strings in the case as well. It will sell with a reasonable reserve as well.
