Listing Information
Auction ends Monday night with scheduled pick up TUESDAY July 6th from 10 AM to 6 PM. Inspection by appointment. Please call Brett or Roxane at 651-233-6712 or send an email request to auctions@unbelievablefinds.com to schedule an appointment. This is an off-site auction and items MUST BE PICKED UP on the scheduled pick up day. ITEMS ARE LARGE AND HEAVY, BRING HELP TO LOAD. DOCK HEIGHT REMOVAL FOR LARGE ITEMS AVAILABLE.

This is the third in a series of auctions of surplus items and archive merchandise from Brown and Bigelow, the 125 year old St. Paul, Minnesota based merchandise, licensing, manufacturing and publishing company. Each auction will contain a variety of different items ranging from warehouse related items, shipping supplies, production items, merchandise and much more. This auction features rare vintage 1940's - 1970's heavy glass color separation plates and negatives of iconic Brown and Bigelow images. Examples of the glass color separation plates are shown in some lots, but all lots contain similar glass plate types, just with different artists and images. Each image will/should be on multiple glass plates. We did not go through the individual plate boxes nor the sealed corrugated boxes and wood crates on pallets, so full contents of each lot is not known. Some pallets of boxes are still sealed and have been for decades, so images of the plates and artists are unknown but are all Brown and Bigelow artists and copyrighted images. Papers attached to each lot showing dates are just warehouse catalog dates showing when crates and pallets were moved within the warehouse. Artists include Norman Rockwell, Gil Elvgren, Maxfield Parrish, Charles M. Russell, Rolf Armstrong, Alberto Vargas, Lawson Wood, Zoe Mozert, Fred Sweney, Al Buell, Paul Detlefsen, Richard Bishop, Clair Fry, Duane Bryers, Mayo Olmstead and many, many more!! The images are still copyright protected and owned by The Brown and Bigelow Licensing Company. They cannot be reproduced without the consent and permission of The Brown and Bigelow Licensing Company. More Brown and Bigelow auctions upcoming including large volumes of archive merchandise.
