Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. retains the right to govern goods and services sold to clients and to maintain the level and integrity of our business. Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. has the right to terminate the auction at any time; withdrawal from sale of any item; to sell at this auction items not listed; to group one of more lots into one or more selling lots or to subdivide into two lots or more selling lots. The auction company also reserves the right to sell all of the items listed in bulk.
Payment:
a) All payments will be required to be paid for with the credit card on file after auction is complete.
b) Buyer's Premium is 13% Online
c) Buyer specifically waves the right to dispute or deny payment for any purchases made with a credit card.
d) No items will be removed until they have been paid for. Purchaser is responsible for removal of all purchased goods. No abandonment of purchased items is allowed. All abandoned items will be sold for storage and moving fees.
e) Any gold & silver coins, precious stones and fine jewelry that are to be shipped anywhere will require wire transfer for payment.
Loading Equipment:
a) Buyer is responsible for their own removal of all items. Please bring any packing material and boxes that you may need. Please bring assistance to move heavy items to your vehicle and any tools for dismantling.
Pick up of Items:
a) All items must be on the scheduled pick up-date.
b) Outside of the Base Road Location-All Items must be picked up on the scheduled pick-up times. If they are not, they will be considered abandoned and become the possession of Harmeyer Auction, No Refund will be issued (10/7/2020)
c) Base Road Location: Any item remaining in our building 7 days after the scheduled auction pick up will be considered abandoned and become the possession of Harmeyer Auction, No Refund will be issued (10/7/2020)
No Liability:
a) Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. assumes no liability for your purchases. The buyer assumes and does agree to indemnify and hold the auction company and seller harmless from any future claim that shall pertain to fitness or use of the asset being purchased.
b) Persons attending during exhibition, sale or removal of goods assume all risks of damage or loss to person and property and specifically release and indemnify the Auction Company from liability therefore. Neither the Auction Company nor his principal or seller shall be liable by reason of any defect in or condition of the premises in which the sale is held. Consignors & Bidders: a) All consignors must fill out a contract with Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC., sign forms and abide by our terms listed.
b) All bidders must register for bidder's numbers using proper ID or proper information.
c) Any employee of Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. may bid at any auction if they wish to purchase an item.
d) All items become the sole responsibility of the purchaser when the auctioneer confirms your bid as the successful winner. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
e) If there is any dispute between two or more bidders, the auction company or its' auctioneer, may decide the successful bidder. The decision of the auction company, or its' auctioneer, shall be final and absolute.
Loss of Bidding Privileges:
a) If you have failed to pay for an item your bidding privileges will be revoked. Your privileges may be restored by paying for the item or repaying for the loss of the revenue due to the items not having been sold and by placing a credit card on permanent file whereby future purchases will automatically be charged.
Delinquent Accounts:
a) The bidder that has not paid for, or has not removed their items from the auction site, will be subject to the cost of storage, trucking, re-sale, deficiency balances, collection fees, and any legal fees for recouping a loss due to the bidder's negligence.
Reserves:
a) Any and all items that Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. agrees to sell are subject to a reserve as per Indiana State Auction Law.
Documents:
a) All documents must be completed in full by buyers and sellers. For Example: Death Certificates, Letters of Authority, Creditor Leins, and UCC's when purchasing vehicles, firearms, etc.
b) All gun buyers will be required to fill out a 4473 form and pass a background check. Out of state buyers will be required to have any and all guns shipped to an FFL (Federal Firearms License) Dealer.
Compliance with the Terms of Sale:
a) In default of payment of bills in full within the time announced for this auction the Auction Company in addition to all other remedies allowed by law, may retain all monies received as deposit or otherwise, as liquidated damages.
b) Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. is in complete accordance with Indiana statutes and Indiana Administrative codes, Title 25, Title 812, Department of Revenue Tax Bulletin #20, and Reference IC 6-2-4.
Warranties:
a) Everything is sold "AS IS/WHERE IS" with no warranties, representation or guarantees expressed, implied or otherwise given. All sales are final.
Conditions of Items Sold:
a) All information is believed to be accurate, but the auction company shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness of or defect in any lot, and makes no warranty in connection therewith.
No allowance will be made or sale set aside on account of any incorrectness, error in cataloging or any imperfection not noted. No deduction will be allowed on damaged articles as all goods being exposed for public exhibition are sold "as is" and without recourse. Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. requires any and all buyers to preview and make your own opinion of conditions.
Auctioneers have the right to refuse service or eject any person obstructing the auction process.
The record of sale kept by the Auction Company, the audio tape of the auction and the bookkeeper records will be taken as final in the event of any dispute.
Shipping/Pick up
a)All items must be paid for prior to pick up or shipping of the item
b)Pick up will be scheduled the following day after closing of the auction unless otherwise noted
c)If items are to be shipped the buyer will first pay for the item at the close of the auction. Then after payment has been made the items will be boxed and packaged for a fee of $5 per box. Then the card will be charged again for the shipping & handling fees and the items will then be shipped.
d)If the card is declined for the shipping fees the buyer will be notified and items will not be shipped until the shipping is paid in full.
e) if items are not picked up on the scheduled pick-up day, they may be considered forfeited, and no refund will be made.
f) If an item is shipped and damaged the buyer is responsible to file for all insurance claims
g) if an item is to be returned that will be done at the buyer's expense.

Due to the passing of Max Thomas, we have been asked to liquidate the tools and equipment for the business by his wife Liz Thomas. Max had been in the concrete business for many years in Blackford County and surrounding area.

Directions from Indiana 3 and Indiana 26-Go west on Indiana 26 to Smith St turn right or North and building will be a yellow building with overhead doors on left or west side of St- Watch for Harmeyer Auction Signs 1 Hand Sprayer Large group of varying sizes of hand sprayers. One does not have hose and wound. They have not been tested. 2 Plastic Gas Cans A nice lot of several plastic gas cans. All appear to be good, all have lids. Some discoloration to a couple but all seem to be solid. 3 Lincoln AC 225 Welder Very nice Lincoln brand AC 225 welder, comes with cart and accessories. These include gloves, two welding helmets, wire brushes, slag hammer and and an assortment of welding rods. 4 Long Handled Tools Very nice assortment of several long handled, comes with round nose shovels, brooms, and many more items. All do appear to be good and usable. 5 Long Handled Tools Another very nice lot of several long handled tools. Again, several shovels and brooms make up this lot. All do appear to be good and usable. 6 Measuring Wheel Good measuring wheel. Does function as it should and resets, not major bents or problems. 7 Wooden Mechanics Creeper NAPA wooden mechanics creeper. Appears good, some damage to the headrest, has all casters and rolls as it should. 8 Transit, Tri-pod & Level Rod A Craftsman brand transit complete with tripod and level rod, all appears to be complete and in usable condition. 9 Oil Drain Pans, Funnels & Oil Can A nice set of several oil drain pans, these have been other uses previously. Also comes with two funnels and a very nice 2 quart galvanized oil dispensing can. 10 Concrete Hand Tools A small toolbox with concrete hand tools. Several finishing tools and hand trowels, also cement hammer and several other items. 11 Double Headed Nails Large quantity of varying sizes of double headed nails. Majority of these are marked 8's. 12 Tires & Wheels Small lot of varying sizes of wheels and tires. These are flat but sidewalls appear to be good, Also comes with some solid rubber wheel and two wheel beauty rings. 13 Come-A-Long Nice come-a-long. Has two good ends, works as it should. 14 Chicago Electric Arc Welder Small portable Chicago electric arc welder, model 1400. Has not been tested, is complete with leads. 15 Metal Signs This lot features 2 No Parking Signs along with 2 Fire Extinguisher signs, all are metal and appear to be good. No parking measures 18" L x 12" W and then fire extinguisher signs are 20" L x 4" W 16 Battle of the Beers Small lot of beer advertising. In this lot there are two Bud Light beer buckets, one with the UFC logo along with another with a football motif. Also with the lot comes a small rug with the Miller Lite logo in what looks like a football field. Gre... 17 Two Wheeled Aluminum Cart Very nice two wheeled aluminium cart, pneumatic tires and over sized platform, light weight and has a capacity of 500 lbs. 18 Masterforce Work Stool Padded work stool by Masterforce, does have small tear in top of padding. Is sturdy and a nice stool. 19 Welding Rods Nice selection of varying sizes of welding rods. All appear to be good. 20 Steel Two Wheeled Cart Nice metal two wheeled cart, pneumatic tires, not bent and operates as it should. 21 Hilti TE72 Hammer Drill Older but nice Hilti TE72 hammer drill, does work and comes with some bit. Carrying case, 110v 22 Craftsman Reciprocating Saw Good Craftsman/Sears brand reciprocating saw, comes with case and works as it should. Good cord and 1 1/8" stroke and 2 speed. 23 Rubbermaid Stool w/ Toolbox & More Nice lot that features a Rubbermaid stool/toolbox, in good condition, are ready to use. Also comes with a magnet that will release and some type of rough stones. Nice lot! 24 Milwaukee & Craftsman Battery Set This lot feature two different battery sets. The first is a Milwaukee brand battery drill, appears to be 12v, and battery WILL NOT CHARGE, comes with drill, battery and charger. The second set is a Craftsman brand, come 25 3/4" Drive Socket Set This is a full mismatched set of 3/4" drive sockets and ratchet. Most of the sockets are Wright brand while the ratchet is Craftsman brand. Also comes with a break over bar, assumed to be Wright brand. 26 Craftsman Brand Miter Saw Craftsman brand miter saw, 10" blade, does work and appears to be complete. 27 4" Angle Grinders This lot has 3 4' angle grinders, one appears to be new or very little use on it. One does not work and two are in working order. All three are Chicago brand. 28 HaulMaster Furniture Dolly Nice small HaulMaster brand furniture dolly, has caters and works as it should, measures 18" long x 12" wide. 29 Misc Hardware Lot This lot features misc hardware, screws, nails, nuts and bolts. Nice selection of varying sizes. 30 Concrete Anchors A small selection of concrete anchors. Also come with stakes for forms. 31 Triple T Bench Grinder Nice Triple T brand bench grinder, does work, is not attached to table, dual grinding wheels, very nice grinder ready to go to work. 32 Miter Saw & Hand Saws This is a large lot of several saws, all do appear to to be good. Several still have paper sleeve on them. Also comes with Bailey No 5 plane and a metal miter box w/ saw. 33 Hydraulic Pump & Tips This appears to be a rebuilt or new hydraulic pump, not sure what it fits, also comes with a male and female hydraulic tips. 34 HyPro Pump This is a HyPro pump, this appears to be air driven pump, it is free. 35 Baskets & Crockpot Small lot of two baskets and a Crockpot slow cooker. Slow cooker is complete and clean, has not been tested. One basket appears to be vintage and other more modern, both appear good. 36 Clamps Nice small selection of several clamps. Three are bar clamps and work as they should. Comes with 2 C-clamps, bother work but one is missing flat piece that comes against piece. 37 Saw Blades Lot of several saw blades, majority of these are for a circular saw, varying styles and types. Also has one large concrete blade. Most are 10" blades. 38 Milwaukee Band Saw Very nice Milwaukee band saw, does work as it should very clean and appears to be used very little. Comes with case. 39 Hilti Powder Fastening Tool Offered is a Hilti DX38M powder fastening tool, appears to be complete, has extra charges, comes with carrying case, this has not been tested but did work almost 2 years ago. 40 Bosch Hammer Drill Older but good Bosch hammer drill, comes with case, does work as it should, has some extra bits with it, cord is good. 41 Milwaukee Hammer Drill Another older but good Milwaukee hammer drill, good cord, comes with carrying case and good drill, has been tested. 42 Hilti TE22 Hammer Driil Hilti TE22 hammer drill, works as it should, good cord and carrying case. 43 Hilti Drill Hilti brand drill, assumed to be a hammer drill, but no model number was found, does operate, comes with carrying case (metal) and cord is good. 44 4" Angle Grinder Small metal toolbox with 4" angle grinder, does work as it should, cord is good appears to be Black & Decker brand. 45 Skil Saw & Case A very nice Skil saw, does work as it should, fairly new saw, comes with older metal carrying case, 7 1/4" 46 9 Piece Dent Puller Set is complete, does have all 9 pieces, appears to be new or fair new. Box has some water damage and was ripped when picturing, foam is still intact. 47 Tape Several rolls of tape, several different types as well. 48 Storage & Step Stool Small lot of milk crates and a Coca Cola flat, also comes with a plastic step stool, this does have some oil residue and would need cleaned but still a good stool. 49 Buckets, Pans & Plastic Small lot of a large plastic bucket along with another 2 liter coca cola flat and metal pan. 50 Belts & Brakes Small lot of a few rubber belts, unsure of what application they come from, also a set of brake pads, unsure of what these fit. 51 Heater Thermostats Two salamander or heater thermostats. Both appear good and are 110v, cords are good. 52 Halogen Light Dual lighted halogen trouble or work light. Does have two different light fixtures on top, sits on a tripod and is extendable, has not been tested. Frame and fixtures all appear to be good. 53 Halogen Trouble Lights A set of halogen work or trouble lights, these are smaller and have a small base to sit on. These have not been tested but appear to be good. Cords are good, an extra cover comes with lot. 54 Heat Type Lamps This lot has two heat type lamps, have metal shades and hanger. Have regular bulbs in them. 55 Door Knobs & Locks This lot features several items for door insulation, several knobs, door jam catches and many other items. Also door cylinder is with lot. 56 Pipe Clamps Set of pipe clamps, both appear good and not bends or breaks, measure 48" long 57 Stihl Leaf Blower Stihl BG72 leaf blower, this is free, there was little gas in it and didn't get it to start. Appears good, engine is free. Complete unit 58 Mini Con II Walk Behind Concrete Saw Older Mini Con II concrete saw, has a Wisconsin Robin engine, it is free but was not able to start, fuel has been drained out. Comes with blade, was told it did operate 2 years ago when Max quit working. 59 Drop Cords Three medium weight drop cords, these are all 110v cords, all appear good. Ends are good as well. 60 220v Drop Cords Two 220v drop cords, one does have both ends, other just has female end, both appear good. 61 Acetylene Torch Set This is a set of gas torches, the tanks are owned and will go with set. No cart, just a set of regulators, torches and tanks. Torch set is Weldmaster brand. Regulators are Modern Engineering brand. This was not tested and unsure if there is any co... 62 Drop Cords A lot of several small drop cords, these are all good weight and medium grade. All are 110v cords. 63 Drop Cords This lot features several longer medium grade 110v drop cords, all appear to be good. Longer lengths than previous lots. 64 Battery Charger & Tester A set of smaller 6v and 12v battery chargers. These have not been tested, ends and cords appear good. One is a Chicago brand and other is Solar brand. Also comes with a tester. 65 Truck Side Mirrors A set of large side truck mirrors, these are wired for clearance lights on the back of the mirror. Both are still new and in boxes. 66 Florescent Lights & Bulbs This is a small light fixture with lights and extra bulbs, these are florescent fixtures and comes with a small box of incandescent bulbs as well. 67 Paint Supplies Nice lot of several paint supplies. Includes several paint trays, roller handles, small wood extension handle for rollers and one extra roller. 68 Misc Pipe Cutting A small plastic toolbox with several misc pieces. Comes with two small pipe cutters, butane tank and torch, impact driver, Stanley knife and some odds and ends. 69 Bosch Electric Jack Hammer Bosch Electric jack hammer with cart and bits. We were told this unit DID NOT operate. Unsure of what the issue is. Does come with cart and bits. 70 Tap & Dye Set Small tap and dye set, is complete. 71 Crafts,man Router Small Craftsman router, appears to not have been used much. Cord is good, comes with manual as well. 72 Milwaukee Angle Drill Older Milwaukee brand angle drill, does work, older model. Cord does have some damage at point where it attaches, has not affected the operation of the drill. 73 Chicago Chainsaw Chain Sharpener & Wedges A Chicago brand chainsaw chain sharpener, does work, appears to have little use. Comes with extra grinding disk as well as a set of poly wedges for splitting wood. 74 Makita DPC 7301 Concrete Saw An older Makita concrete saw, model DPC 7301. Engine is free, did not try to start, gas was drained. Assumed to be 2 cycle engine, everything is free. 75 Craftsman 12v Power Hammer Small portable 12v battery power hammer, comes with small carry case, charger included, manual with unit as well. 76 Black & Decker Workmate 300 A Black & Decker Workmate 300, works as it should, doe have corner of the top, but works. 77 Safety Equipment A nice lot of several safety items. Lot features a hard hat, safety vest, several knee pads and gloves. 78 Drill Sharpener An electric drill bit sharpener. Was not tested, comes with an extra attachment. 79 Delta Belt Sander A small Delta belt sander, does work as it should, small disk sander on one end, Comes with manual and cord is good. 80 Ratchet Straps Nice lot of ratchet straps, several are still new in package. All appear to be in good usable condition, 81 Coolers Small lot of three Little Playmate Igloo coolers as well as an Igloo water cooler. One of smaller Playmate coolers lids does not latch. Others are good, all are clean. Water cooler does have some damage to the lid with an older repair to it. No ho... 82 Padded Chairs & Gun Rack Two steel framed padded chairs, older but both are still good. Also comes with a smaller wooden gun rack. 83 Jacks A small lot of three jacks. One of the bottle jacks does work while the other is froze, the floor jack will work up and down but handle will not spin. 84 Concrete Stencils A roll of stencils for concrete. 85 Metal Railing 72" in length, black metal railing for stairs, there is a step in this. Measures 32" in height. 86 Clevis & Hitch Pin A small lot of three clevises and two hitch pins. One pin is in clevis while the other is a stand alone. 87 Chain Binders Three chain binders, all appear to be good and work as it they should. No damage or bends. 88 Chains & Loops A very nice lot of several chains, and loops for lifting. All appear to be good and no major problems. 89 Garden Hose A nice lot of three (one not pictured) garden hoses, two are older but appear good, varying lengths. 90 Concrete Bull Float Nice concrete bull float, does come with float and handles. Float is 42" wide and handles are all 72" long for a total of 24' in 6' lengths. Also comes with 1 4' long, These are all screw type handles. All appear good. 91 Concrete Bull Float Another nice bull float, comes with float and handles. These are all pressure type connections, float is 42" wide and handles are 72" handles with a total 30' in handles. All appear good. 92 Bull Float Heads A set of bull float heads, one does have the screw type and other does not have any head. Measurements are in the photos. 93 Bull Float Heads Another set of bull float heads and broom. These are appear to be good and are the pressure fittings. Measurements are in photos. 94 Bull Float Heads Another set of screw type bull float heads, both appear to be good and measurements are in photos. JUST BIDDING ON THE FLOATS 95 Concrete Brooms/Brushes A set of three varying widths of brooms for concrete work, these are attached with screw end. All have been used but appear good, widths are in photos. 96 Bull Float Accessories Small lot of bull float accessories. Does come with two adapters for screw type handles to the pressure handles. Several finishing tools. 97 Concrete Hand Tools Nice lot of hand concrete finishing tools. Several trowels, finishing tools and edgers. Majority appear to be in good shape. A couple do have some rust. 98 Bushes Small selection of varying types of brushes, all have been used but still good. 99 Long Handled Concrete Edging Tool Nice long handled edging concrete tool, head is adjustable for differing angles, wood handle, nice tool. 100 Ram Golf Bag & Misc Clubs A nice older Ram golf bag and several misc clubs. A variety of putters, drivers and irons. See photos for various brand names. All look fairly modern but one driver that is wood. 101 Eureka Vacuum Older Eureka brand vacuum cleaner, no brush attachment, has not been tested. 102 Port-A-Power A very nice port-a-power set, with a nice metal case, still has foam packing. Has not been tested but appears to used very little. 103 Canopy Frame A small metal canopy frame, does have plastic corner and connecting pieces. Unsure of total size and no canopy was found. 104 Milwaukee Circular Saw An older Milwaukee circular saw, does work, cord is good. 105 Air Tank Small metal air tank, has not been tested, no holes could be seen. Has gauge and air filler. 106 KeroSun Heater & Pump An older KeroSun heater and pump, the heater looks complete, does have some rust on bottom but doesn't appear to have affected the structure. Appears to be complete, comes with small kerosene hand pump. 107 Caulking Guns A nice selection of several caulking guns, there are a couple that are made for large tubes while the others are for normal sized tubes. 108 Box Fan & Heater A lot of a box fan and electric heater. Both have not been tested. Fan is variable speed and is missing handle. Cord is good. Electric heater is variable control as well. Cord good 109 Railroad Spike This is a lot of several railroad spike, all appear to be new and not used. The container says 60 pieces, did not count, nice metal container with locking lid. 110 PVC Pipe Small lot of PVC pipe, several varying lengths and diameters, some are just have tubes. 111 Misc Metal Items This lot features several misc metal pieces. A nice piece of angle iron, a nice step and several other scrap type pieces. 112 Metal Concrete Forms Nice set of metal concrete forms. These are all 10' lengths, all appear to be good, braces come with lot. Approx 17 pieces 113 Aluminium or Magnesium Screed A set of aluminum or magnesium screeds, one is 4' in width and other is 10' length. Both appear to be good and in great condition. 114 Stanley Vac & Dirt Devil A set of smaller vacs. A nice dirt devil small hand vac, in box and good cord. Good clean unit. Also comes with Stanley brand 1.4 gallon small vac, looks like new, small hose and good cord. These have not been tested. Some accessories come with S... 115 Golf Lot Several items related to golfing. Several golf stick with no heads. Comes with small ball catch, small amount of balls, grip solvent and tape. Nice little lot for the golf enthusiast and hobbyist. 116 Honda EB2200X Generator Small portable Honda brand generator. Does run, was not used to plug anything in. Runs very quiet and was told it did work as it should. Older unit, great for small jobs or travel. 117 Stanley Vac Nice Stanley brand vac, 16 gallon capacity, 6.25 hp, no hose, 2 plastic extensions come with unit. Cord is good. 118 Stanley Vac A very nice 10 gallon capacity and 3.0 hp Stanley brand vac. Does include hose with unit. Has small amount of accessories with unit. Cord is good, very nice unit. 119 Craftsman Electric Blower Small 110v electric leaf blower, comes with unit and bag, has not been tested. 120 Air Compressor & Tank Small air tank on wheels, was an air compressor unit at one time. Lot also comes with air compressor, unit is questionable on working properly. Tank does hold air, and has electric motor. Nice length of air hose with unit as well. 121 Koehring Power Trowel Gas powered, Power Trowel, it is free, was not started. Has Briggs engine. |
