Our owner, Brian Sample, has been in the Antiques, Collectibles & Auction business since the 1980's starting as a dealer/collector. Licensed as an Auctioneer since 1998 and a Realtor since 2003, Brian has conducted 100's hundreds of live and online auctions. Our Auctions are always fresh Estate & Downsizing merchandise from individuals and businesses, never wholesale or loaded in any format. We also buy estates and downsizing leftovers.

Effective and enforceable immediately when you become the high, winning bidder, you have agreed contractually to your puchase per the laws of the State of Indiana. All property is sold "AS IS" and there are no returns, refunds or adjustments. Estate & Downsizing Specialists LLC makes every effort to accurately describe all lots. Descriptions, marks, identification, and photographs of the items will not be considered a warranty or guarantee of authenticity or value. We will make every effort to accurately describe these items. All bidders must be 18 years of age or older and competent to conduct a financial transaction. All Auctions are considered reserve Auctions unless otherwise posted. The Auction company and its employees reserves the right to bid on any item for any reason, including absentee bids placed by non-internet bidders. The bidder/buyer agrees to pay all costs associated with any collection process for the funds due the Estate & Downsizing Specialists LLC. This may include legal, court, time and ANY associated costs. The purchaser agrees that a fee of 10% per month will be added to the balance of any unpaid amount due to Estate & Downsizing Specialists LLC. New lots may be added to any of our auctions up to the Friday before the Monday close of the sale. No lots will be added in the last 3 days.
BIDDING
Auction lots will have a staggering ending time starting at 6pm or 7pm EST, depending on the season, with the majority of auctions closing on Mondays and Wednesdays. All of our auctions have soft close times. First lot closes Soft Close on this auction at 6pm or 7pm EST. Stagger time will be 20 seconds to 1 minute depending on the total lot count. Big early and often on the lots you are interested in. Any bids placed in the last two minutes of time remaining will extend the total time. If two bidders place high bids that are the same amount, the FIRST recorded bid becomes the winner. Always make sure you have the high bid before assuming you have purchased an item. EDS assumes no responsibility or liability in the bidding activities during the close of the auction. Once an item is closed, EDS cannot change the winning bidder status under any circumstances.
15% BUYER'S PREMIUM
15% Buyers Premium Applies to this auction. Example: If you bid $100 on an item, the final price will be $115. The 15% BP will be applied to the final bid plus any applicable taxes.
SALES TAX
7% Indiana Sales Tax will be charged for all buyers with Indiana residence. If you are Tax Exempt we must have your Exemption Certificate on file before the close of the auction. No Lots will be released on a Tax Exempt basis until EDS has a current copy ON FILE. Certificates can be emailed to EDSOnlineAuctions@Gmail.com.

This is Day 1 of a 3 day Online Only Auction Event from the Estates of Harriet Curry and the Sullivan Family of Bloomington, Indiana and the Sadlier Family formerly of Indianapolis, Indiana with select additions. All lots in this auction can be shipped professionally by our in-house shipping department. Monday, May 17th, features fine and rare Continental, English and American ceramics, Sandwich & art glass, including rare bottles & perfumes - Tuesday, May 18th, Fine European and American furnishings, clocks, Asian antiques & fine arts, Primitives, Brown County IN artists & other listed Fine Art paintings and prints, Meissen & Severes materpieces from the 18th C. and rarities throughout - Wednesday, May 19th, Fine Jewelry, Sterling & accessories. So many things rarely if ever seen in our locale. This is a fantastic event.
Mrs. Curry was a noted collector and dealer in antiques in Bloomington specializing in the finest of Continental porcelains and ceramics.
Robert & Eugenie Sullivan owned the Sullivan Clothing store in Bloomington furnishing their historic farm house with early American furniture and antiques.
The Sadlier Family of Indianapolis opened the first smithy on what is now Monument Circle with later generations furnishing their home with fine and rare European antiques.
Monday May 17th Online Only Auction from the estate of local Bloomington Antiques dealer Harriet Curry with select additions. This auction includes many unique and rare pieces with English Staffordshire and the earliest of Transferware, German Meissen including the Blue Onion pattern as well as some very special porcelains from the Meissen and Dresden factories in Germany. Also included is a spectacular group of French Faience hand painted ceramics and Porcelains from the Sevres factory near Paris, hand painted earthenware inkstands, Early American glass from the Sandwich factory, Massachusetts with early blown glass decanters, glass perfumes and barber decanters.
Select additions include: Fine Meissen and Dresden porcelain from the Sadlier family and others.
Early 20th C. Limoges Drop Rose pattern china and Cambridge Glass Rose Point glassware.
NOTE: All items are antique and from the Harriet Curry collection unless noted otherwise. Old repairs and damage have been noted in descriptions and photographed as well. Please be aware that identification has been made to the best of our ability but we are not experts in the field of such a diverse and early collection.
This auction ends on Monday May 17th with a soft staggered close, first lot ends at 7PM. Preview for Day 1 and 2 by Appointment May 10th - 14th with special preview for Day 3 jewelry auction is Monday May 10th from 3-6PM and Friday May 14th from 1-6PM. Checkout is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 1-6PM at the Auction Center located at 701 S Ransom Lane in Bloomington IN. Shipping is available for every lot in this auction session. All non-shipping items must be paid for and removed by the end of business on Friday May 21st at 6PM.
