Listing Terms and Conditions
Auction Terms & Conditions 12% buyer's premium if paying by Zelle, Venmo, check or money order; 15% buyer's premium for credit cards. No tax on coins or bullion. Internet-only auction. All items will be shipped. See below for full Auction Terms & Conditions. At the designated time, lots will begin to close at a rate of one lot closing every 20 seconds. This is a soft-close auction, so if a new bid is received within the final two minutes before an item closes, the close time will be extended by 2 minutes for that item. If you enter a maximum bid, the system will bid up to that maximum automatically as needed depending on other competing bids. You may win an item at a price lower than your maximum bid, but if bidding goes above your maximum bid you will not win the item. Please review these terms and conditions carefully, and bid and register only if you agree to abide by them. 1. By bidding on an item, you are irrevocably agreeing to purchase that item should your bid win the item. Please note this is an auction, not a retail setting, and as such bids may not be reversed, retracted, or withdrawn, and no returns will be accepted, nor refunds or chargebacks permitted, except as described in section 2(a) below. 2. Except as described in section 2(a) below, all items are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with all faults. Best Bets, LLC does not warrant condition or grade of any item. Grading is subjective, and even professional coin graders may have differing opinions of the same coin, so descriptions or grades noted are opinions only. We also would never present an item for sale that we did not believe to be authentic, unless we specifically note it as such on the listing; however, we cannot guarantee authenticity. As such, inspection is highly recommended, and photos are provided to enable inspection. The photos provided are of the exact items you are bidding on; no stock photos are used. By bidding on an item, you agree that you have inspected the item to your satisfaction and are agreeing to pay for the item should your bid win; furthermore, you waive all right to return the item or submit a chargeback except as noted in section 2(a) below. 2(a). For single items with a hammer (sale) price of $500 or more, excluding buyers premium and shipping, we will extend the courtesy of accepting a return of the item if you believe the item has not been accurately photographed or described, or if you believe the item is not authentic, so long as you notify us of your intent to return the item within 7 days of receiving the item. Both the hammer price and buyers premium will be refunded, less a return fee equal to 10% of the hammer price. The shipping charge is non-refundable, and you agree you will pay return shipping for the item. A refund will be issued only after we receive the item, and you must return the item to us in the condition in which we shipped it to you. Returns must be received by us within 30 days, and the 10% return fee will apply regardless of return reason. 3. A 15% Buyer's premium will be charged for all bidders unless paying by Venmo, Zelle, check or Money Order, in which the buyer's premium will be 12%. For example, if the hammer (winning) price on a lot is $100, a $15 buyer's premium will be added if paying by credit card, and the total will be $115 plus shipping. 4. All items will be shipped. Local pickup is not available, as the items are held in two different locations, but our shipping rates are affordable. We will ship only to your address on file with HiBid, and only to a single address per bidder. We will not ship items outside the United States. For shipping to addresses within the United States, a flat shipping charge will apply. If you have purchased only one lot, the shipping charge is $5; if you purchase multiple lots, you will be charged a single flat shipping charge of $10, no matter how many lots you have won. In other words, if you live in the United States, the maximum shipping charge you will pay is $10. Additionally, invoices greater than $300 will automatically have insurance added at buyer's expense. 5. Unless you notify us in your registration notes or by email prior to the auction closes that you wish to pay with another payment method, your credit card on file with HiBid, the card you used to register for the auction, will automatically be charged after the auction ends for the hammer price and buyer's premium of all lots you have won, as well as the flat shipping fee. 6. Loss of Bidding Privileges: If your credit card is declined and you subsequently fail to pay for an item within 3 days (7 days if paying by check or money order), your bidding privileges will be revoked. Your privileges may be restored by paying for the item or repaying for the loss of the revenue due to the items not having been sold. 7. Delinquent Accounts: Bidders who do not pay for their items will be subject to the cost of storage, re-sale, deficiency balances, collection fees, and any legal fees for recouping a loss due to the bidder's negligence. If full payment is not received within 5 days of auction end, ownership of the item will revert to seller, and reasonable attempts will be made to sell the item again, but if a lower price is realized, the original non-paying bidder will be responsible for the difference in the original sale price versus the realized sale price, and a fee equal to 15% of the hammer price of the non-paying bidder's winning bid. 8. Reserves: Some items may be subject to a reserve. If a reserve is not met during the auction, the item will not be sold. 9. Best Bets, LLC reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reopen the entire auction or any individual lots or sales in the event of system or site issues, internet outages, disaster or other unforeseen events. 10. Sales tax: All items are located in and considered sold in the states of Washington or Texas, and there is no tax on coins or bullion in these states, so we do not collect sales tax. If sales tax on coins or bullion applies to the buyer's purchase in the buyer's state of residence, buyer is responsible for remitting tax to the appropriate taxing authority.

Sale Terms and Conditions
