BIDDER REGISTRATION: Online registration requires the bidder to place a credit card on file. A $1.00, non-refundable, validation fee will be charged. No credit card information is obtained or kept on file by the auction company. This processing is provided through PAYPAL.
PREVIEW: Limited preview Saturday, April 20th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and Wednesday, April 24th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
TERMS: Payment in full by cash, MasterCard, or Visa at time of pick-up. 18% Buyer’s Premium will be added to the high bid price to become the total purchase price. All sales subject to 6.25% MA Sales Tax. Click here for Form ST-4 Sales Tax Resale Certificate.
PICK-UP AND REMOVAL: Successful bidders will pick up their items at 12 Boren Lane Boxford, MA. All purchases must be picked Friday, April 26th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 27th from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., no exceptions. You must provide your own assistants for moving any items. The buyer(s) of any purchased lots not picked up in the allotted time will be billed a storage fee.
PROPERTY CONDITIONS: All property is sold "AS IS" and all property is sold Subject to Error with no warranty. Neither the Auctioneer nor the Consignor make any warranties or representations of the accuracy of the brochure/catalogue or other descriptions of the physical condition, size, quality, rarity, importance, authenticity, or provenance of the property being sold. Prospective bidders should inspect the property before bidding to determine its condition, size, and whether or not the property has been repaired or restored.
ONLINE BIDDING: The bidding will open on Wednesday, April17th at 5:00 a.m. and the bidding will begin to end on Thursday, April 25th at 4:00 p.m., with approximately 5 lots per minute, subject to extended bidding. Bid increments are shown on the bidding portal. It is the bidder’s responsibility to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of their bid(s). Bidders are encouraged not to wait until the last minute to place a bid. Online bidding is subject to technical difficulties that can develop at any time.
TIMED AUCTION EXTENDED BIDDING: A timed auction event refers to the opening and ending time for placing bids. When a bid is placed within two minutes of the auction ending (3:58 p.m.), the bid time window will extend for an additional two minutes. During that additional two-minute window, if a bid is placed it will be extended again, and so on. This is done to prevent bid “sniping.” This process can go on indefinitely. Even though the auction is set to end at 4:00 p.m., the bidding could be extended to 5:00 p.m. or longer, depending on the activity from the bidders. Please remember to REFRESH your screen often.
CLAIMS: No claims will be allowed after goods are removed from the premises. Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
PERSONAL AND PROPERTY RISK: Persons attending during exhibition, sale or removal of goods assume all risks of damage of, or loss to, personal property, and specifically release the Auctioneer from liability therefore. Neither the Auctioneer nor his Principal shall be liable by reason of a defect in, or condition of, the premises on which the sale is held.
SALES TAX: Sales tax in Massachusetts is 6.25%. It shall be the Buyers’ responsibility to pay all taxes applicable in their home state or country. Buyers will take delivery in Massachusetts.
SHIPPING: Paul Mcinnis LLC will not be responsible for arranging shipping.
