This auction features property from several well known Savannahians including the Collection of Preston Russell, a Savannah painter, historian, and writer. Several of his paintings are included in the auction as well as some of his historical figural models and ship models and art by other Savannah artists including a photograph by Jack Leigh and painting by Marcus Kenny.  His collection reflects his many interests including sporting art, folk art, military paintings, medals and busts and items from his extensive travels.

Other collections include the Estate of Emily Coxe Winburn from her Beaufort residence with many decorative paintings, prints, bronzes and garden items as well as Asian and Ethnographic art from the Collection of Ron Krannich that he amassed over the last 35 years.  As a travel writer he spanned the globe, and as a collector he purchased items he was passionate about along the way.

Other highlights include a vintage gun collection from an Atlanta collector, prints by Alexander Calder, a wonderful marsh scene painting by John Raught, a Tiffany Favrile Vase, American, English and French 18th and 19th century furniture and decorations and several works by Savannah artists Christopher Murphy Sr., Hattie Saussy, Valentino James Molina and others.
