This is an online only auction with bidding through Hibid. Bidding will end in numerical order with 4 items ending every minute. If there is bidding activity in the last 2 minutes, the end time will be extended 2 minutes until there is no further bidding for 2 minutes. Extending the end time for an item does not change the end time of the following item, so there may be several lots ending simultaneously. You may bid anytime up until the ending time for each item. TERMS: You will have to register to bid in this auction. The registration process with Hibid is one-time. You will not have to go through the registration process for future auctions. If you do not wish to register with your credit card, please contact our office and we will assist you with options. If you have difficulty with registering or if you are unsure about the process, or if you just want help bidding, call our office and we will be glad to help you with it. Online bidders will pay a buyer's premium of 10%.
PAYMENT AND SHIPPING: We accept cash, credit cards, PayPal, and checks. Local buyers can use credit cards, cash, or personal check. Nothing will be removed from the auction site until it is paid for. WE WILL GLADLY SHIP ANY ITEM YOU WANT! If you want us to ship your items, the cost of packing and shipping will be added to your total and a new invoice will be sent to you showing the total due. We ship in-house with reasonable handling charges. Payment is expected within 48 hours of invoice for shipped items. If you wish to make payment arrangements other than credit card for shipped orders, we ask that you contact Black and Gold Auctions at least 24 hours before the auction. We will be happy to work with you in that way.
IMPORTANT CHANGES EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 27, 2019: All unpaid invoices remaining at 12:00 Noon on Saturday following the auction end will be assessed a $10 storage fee and the total invoice amount will be charged to the credit card on file with HiBid. If the card is declined, bidding privileges will be immediately suspended until the past due amount is paid in full. If the invoice remains unpaid after 7 days, items will be forfeited and bidding privileges will be permanently revoked. If the invoice is paid this way, purchased items will be stored for a maximum of 7 days. If purchased items are not picked up within 7 days, additional storage fees of $2 per item per day will accrue and bidding privileges will be suspended until items are removed from our facility. If items are not removed at the end of 30 days, they will be forfeited and bidding privileges will be permanently revoked.
We have always tried to be understanding of special circumstances which may require a different pickup time. We will continue to try to work with special circumstances that you may face, but we must be notified in advance and items must be paid for before we can set an alternate pickup time.

We can find no Fenton mark on this piece, so we would date this pre-1970. 22 Smith Glass red amberina carnival basket 7 1/2" tall handled basket marked with S in base. Pretty iridescence. 23 French Blue Open Lattice stemmed compote 8 1/2" diameter and 6 1/2" tall. Basketweave pattern on stem, rayed interior. This piece is attributed to Challinor & Taylor, which would date it to the 1880's-1890's. 24 Marigold Imperial Twins fruit bowl and base Very nice iridescence, six ruffled top and no damage noted. 25 Fenton rose satin glass Poppy basket 9" tall handled basket, with faint Fenton in oval mark on base. Gorgeous piece and its surfaces are a tactile treat. No damage noted, may be a few tiny paint flecks, which are easily removed. 26 Purple Cherry & Lattice carnival creamer and sugar Made by Mosser and of recent vintage. Lovely multi-color iridescence and damage free. Creamer is marked with M. 27 Chartreuse Fiesta 7 cup coffee pot with lid No damage, just a bit of tape residue on the body. 28 Pyrex Woodland 2 1/2 qt oval baking dish with lid. No damage noted. 29 Marigold Fenton Chrysanthemum/Windmill bowl Carnival glass bowl from the 1910's, 9 1/4" diameter, deep, with 3 ball feet and eight ruffle top. Attractive iridescence and no damage noted. 30 Fenton hand-painted custard glass fairy lamp Stunning custard piece, hand-painted and artist-signed by G Farley. Also marked as part of the Gold Treasures Collection/2004/Shelley Fenton. 5 1/4" tall. 31 3 Pyrex mixing bowls, 2 are Old Orchard 1 1/2 pt and 2 1/2 qt Old Orchard mixing bowls and a 1 1/2" qt mixing bowl with the same color scheme, but without the Old Orchard pattern. Still goes well with the other two--no damage noted on bowls. 32 Imperial Aurora Jewels 9" ram's head bowl Gorgeous cobalt carnival glass footed bowl, made by Imperial and marked IG on base. Lovely iridescence and there are no chips, cracks or repairs. 33 Fiesta chartreuse creamer and sugar NO damage, bit of tape residue on covered sugar. 34 Pyrex Old Orchard 1 1/2 qt refrigerator dish with lid. Minor roughness on rim of lid. Impact mark lower down on one corner of base. 35 Fenton high gloss Burmese ribbed vase 5" tall and 5" across the ruffled top. Marked on base with Fenton in oval and either an 8 or a 9. Damage free and a dandy Fenton vase. 36 Purple Smith Glass Turkey on Nest covered dish Carnival glass piece of more recent production. Unmarked and there is no damage noted. Tape residue on base and lid. 37 Joe St. Clair slag glass Indian toothpick holder 2 3/4" tall with green and purple slag. Marked Joe St Clair on base. No damage noted. 38 Green Fenton Thumbprint 3 lily epergne Epergnes are not common items, particularly in this pattern and color. 39 Red slag glass spatula footed toothpick holder 2 3/4" tall, unmarked and undamaged. 40 Fenton hand-painted, artist-signed cruet Fenton calls this glass color Gold Amberina and this piece is hand-painted in the "Woodland Bouquet" pattern. 6 1/2" tall with stopper. Base is signed by the artist, numbered 126 of 2500 and signed by Don Fenton. 41 Marigold St. Clair Indian toothpick holder 2 3/4" tall with marigold carnival glass treatment. Unmarked, but St. Clair was the maker of these, although not all are marked. 42 Fenton hand-painted, artist-signed deer figurine 3 5/8" long and 3 4/8" tall, with a soft, satin finish with pink accents and hand-painted details. Artist signed on base. 43 Fenton hand-painted, artist-signed bear 3 3/4" tall white opalescent bear with hand-painted details. Artist signed on base. 44 Pair: antique rectangular wooden butter molds Each are approximately 3" by 5 1/2" and nicely dovetailed. No pattern on mold. Some tape residue. 45 U.S. & S. Co 1941 metal dipper Embossed with the lettering and numbers shown in title this heavy duty pot dipper was military issue in 1941. Has seen extensive use and been re-soldered, but is an interesting WW II item. 46 Lot of 3 antique round wooden butter molds Two larger molds have age cracks across top, which is pretty much normal for these. One larger mold has an acorn and leaf pattern, the other large one is floral and leaf and the smallest of the three has floral stamp. 47 Wooden mortar and pestle The mortar measures 5 3/4" by 6" and is walnut. 48 Brown one gallon crock canning jar Typical glaze and firing flaws--in very nice condition. 50 Walt Disney metal School Bus Lunch Box with Aladdin thermos. Circa late 1950's-early 60's. No cracks, chips or repairs. 60 Lead crystal purple cut to clear 7 1/2" bowl Purple band is cut to etched, frosted pattern. Usually attributed to Bohemia glass makers. Bowl is slightly cupped. No damage seen and the piece has that lovely lead crystal "ring" to it. 61 Green Northwood Beads 8" carnival glass bowl 8 ruffle carnival glass bowl dating to the 1910's and marked with Northwood's trademark N in circle. Interesting, because the pattern only appears on the exterior of the bowl. Marigold overlay. Two tiny flakes on base rim, wear commensurate with age. 62 Fenton yellow custard ladies hightop shoe Daisy and Button pattern, 4" tall, with paper label. Small flat flake on underside of toe area. 63 Fenton yellow custard hand-painted 4 1/2" pitcher Hand-painted, artist-signed pitcher, with original paper label on base. No damage seen. 64 Fenton custard hand-painted ruffled vase 3 3/4" tall, 5" top diameter. Hand-decorated and artist-signed. 65 Fenton blue satin glass hand-painted vase 3 1/2" tall, 5" top diameter. No damage seen on either vase. 72 Fenton custard 10 3/4" hand-painted bud vase Hand-painted and artist-signed on base, with Fenton in oval mark and an 8 under the Fenton (indicating it was made in the 1980's). No damage noted. 73 Lime Green Fenton 7 3/4" tall open compote Embossed rose design on exterior, with rayed interior. Marked on the bottom with Fenton in oval and also carries a paper label. Small, flat flake on top rim. 74 Fenton Thumbprint Black Glass Hand-Painted vase 8 3/4" tall vase, hand-painted and artist-signed on base. No damage seen. Great form and look! 75 Imperial End of Day Ruby Slag Glass vase 11 1/2" tall with gorgeous coloration. We are attributing this to Imperial, as they made a tremendous amount of slag glass in the late 1950's-1960's. We did not find the IG mark and will add that Imperial was not the only maker of slag glass. 76 Fenton black glass hand-painted shoe 5 1/2" long, with embossed floral design in the glass. Hand-painted, artist-signed on base. No damage seen. 77 Teal green Fenton hand-painted shoe 5 1/2" long with embossed floral design in glass. Hand-painted, artist-signed on base and also has foil label on base. Spongeware Paul Storie Pottery (Marshall, Texas) 5 3/4" mug. The Western stoneware mug is vintage, the spongeware mug is much more contemporary. No damage seen on either mug. 98 Brown Western Stoneware carafe 10" tall. Has Maple Leaf mark on base. No damage noted. Tape residue. 99 Buckeye Pottery brown/beige stoneware jug Impressed mark on base. Minor factory flaws, but no post-production damage. Tape residue. 100 3 Garger's glass soda bottles With Garger's paper labels, indicating three different flavors. Bottles hold 1 pint, 7 ounces. Labels marked North St. Louis Bottling Co., St. Louis, Mo. 102 Taylors glass one quart milk bottle and carries Bottle fits perfectly into metal carrier. NIce lettering on bottle. Tape residue on bottle. 103 Carnation Bottling Co glass soda bottle Company is located in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. 104 Gorgeous ruby cut to clear flared 5" vase Gold trim on top rim. Coin spot pattern with a row of elongated ovals. Quite a showy piece. No damage noted, tape residue on vase. 105 Goofus glass tri-cornered plate 7" whimsied plate, with 3 sides pulled up. Good remaining goofus treatment and no damage noted. Tape residue on plate. 106 Sport Skwirts metal lunch box No thermos. Circa 1972. LIght wear but good remaining graphics. Tape residue on lunch box. 107 Mickey Mouse club metal lunch box with Aladdin thermos. Light to moderate wear. The "Mouseketeer" side is fairly worn, however, the side with cartoon characters displays much better. 108 1979 Sesame Street metal lunch box with Aladdin thermos. Lunch box shows moderate wear, with some dents. 109 Ohio Art metal American Flag lunch box No thermos. Fairly heavily worn and rusty inside, spring broken on latch 110 Ohio Art metal Road Signs lunch box No thermos. Great graphics, even with moderate wear. Handle missing. 111 Holly Hobbie metal lunch box Circa 1978, with Aladdin thermos. With original thermos. 114 Pair of Jadite mixing bowls 7" Fire-KIng mixing bowl that is heavily worn. 6 1/2" batter bowl with spout.--this bowl is in nice condition. 115 Lot of 3 painted Bromwell's flour sifters All have fresh paint and decals 117 2 Pyrex 9 1/4" square Hostess bowls One red, one yellow. Versatile pieces that can be used in numerous ways. Minor wear and one pinhead chip on the rim of the yellow bowl. 118 Red Pyrex 1 1/2 qt bowl with cover Nifty covered baking/serving bowl that is approx 7 3/4" square. Very light wear and there is tape residue on the piece, but no damage found. 119 Contemporary 6 1/2" tall jadite pitcher Unmarked and a more recent piece--this is not vintage jadite. No damage noted, tape residue on interior. 120 4 piece square clear covered refrigerator dish set 8 1/2" square dish, with embossed fruit design, three smaller matching pieces. No damage noted, but there is tape and tape residue on pieces. 121 Pyrex Dandelion Duet divided, covered casserole Oval 1 1/2 qt. divided dish with lid. Tiny flake on one corner of tab handle on lid. Tape residue on piece. 122 3 Pyrex Forest Fancies mixing bowls 750 ml, 1 1/2 liter, 2 1/2 liter bowl sizes. Larges and smallest exhibit wear and use. No damage noted, however, you will have to remove a ton of tape from these bowls. 123 Pyrex green/yellow 4 pc refrigerator set All four piece have lids. Minor rim roughness on two of the lids. Be aware, these sets were wrapped entirely in packing tape and there is considerable tape residue on each piece. 124 Red Pyrex 9" square Hostess bowl 2 1/2 qt capacity. Ideal serving bowl with great versatility. No damage noted. 125 Stunning Amber Imperial Open Rose 9" plate Antique Imperial carnival glass at its best. This plate dates to the early 1910's and features shimmering blue, purple and gold iridescence on the amber glass color. Quite striking. No damage noted, just the normal, minor, factory flaws and imperfec... 126 Marigold Fenton Blackberry Banded square hat Somewhat scarce piece, made only in the various hat shapes. This square--or four sides up--shape is less common than the ruffled. 3 1/2" tall, 5 1/2" across the top. No damage noted, just normal, minor factory flaws. 127 2 carnival glass pieces, spotty iridescence Purple Northwood Fine Cut and Roses 7 1/4" candy dish--spotty iridescence in center. Marigold Dugan Windflower 8 1/2" ruffled bowl, also with spotty iridescence near the center. Both pieces are from the 1910's and neither have any cracks, chips or re... 128 Blue Art Glass Jack-in-the-Pulpit vase 8" tall vase with white spatter effect on blue glass. Unimproved pontil. Foil label on base, but there is no name on the label. Attributed by owners to Murano, but we think it was made by someone else. A nice piece, nonetheless, with no damage noted. 129 Ice Green vaseline single Dolphin candlestick 7 3/4" tall. Glows wildly under blacklight. No damage noted. 130 Westmoreland hand-painted custard candy jar with lid. 7 3/4" overall height. Hand-decorated, artist-signed and dated 1978. Faint Westmoreland mark on base. Glossy finish. No damage noted. 131 Imperial red slag grape & cable nappy 5 1/2" diameter, single handle nappy. Although Grape and Cable was a Northwood pattern originally, Imperial has adapted it for use on this nappy. Circa early 1960's and marked with IG mark. No damage seen. 132 2 Dugan marigold carnival glass pieces 7" Golden Grape ruffled bowl; Question Marks stemmed bonbon. Both from the 1910's and neither has any damage. 133 Red amberina square, handled basket 7" tall to top of handle. Geometric pattern on basket. Not a particularly old piece, but pretty and damage-free. 134 Murano style art glass tri-corner dish Has that Murano or Venetian glass look, with a polished base. Whimsied tri-corner shape with a diameter of 5". No damage noted but there is tape residue inside. 135 Fenton custard glass hand-painted vase Lovely 9 1/2" custard glass vase with a tri-corner crimped top. Hand-decorated and artist-signed. No damage seen. 136 Cased glass handled art glass basket 5 1/2" tall with a clear applied rope twist handle. Candy ribbon edge on basket, with with green flecked interior. Improved pontil mark. No damage noted. Quite a showy piece. 137 Blue satin glass drapery pattern vase 8" tall, with a crimped, ruffled top. Drapery or arches pattern on body of vase--quite attractive. Unmarked, but attributed to the owners as being Fenton, which we see as a strong possibility. No damage noted. 138 Fenton custard glass hand-painted votive lamp 3 piece outfit, 8 1/2" tall when assembled. Finger lamp base, hand-painted base and shade.
