2 Antique Banjos. One boasts a fine show business history, being Owned and Played Professionally by J. C. Dailey, a multi-talented musician performing circa 1895-1935. An original showbill circa 1910-1920 shows a photo of him holding this banjo and advertises him as a "Banjo Virtuoso and Musical Genius" and noting that he is a "Composer For The Banjo" and lists 2 of his compositions: "Eveningtide Waltzes" and "Invincible March, etc.", and listing his permanent address as "BILLBOARD, Cincinnati, Ohio". This banjo comes with the original case. Dailey also played the guitar, violin, mandolin, and several wind instruments which are shown in the showbill photo. In addition, he was a dapper dresser and handsome gentleman.
