TERMS & CONDITIONS
BY PLACING A BID, BIDDER CERTIFIES THAT THEY HAVE READ AND WILL ABIDE BY ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS STATED BELOW. IT IS THE BUYER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO UNDERSTAND ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING.
General Terms of Real Estate Auction: A 10% buyer's premium will be added to the high bid to determine contract price paid by buyer. 10 % down non-refundable upon signed purchase agreement and acceptance by seller, rest due upon delivery of deed and merchantable title on or before 45 days. Taxes pro-rated to the date of closing. Closing Attorney: John Jordan, Jordan and Mahoney Boone IA. All announcements upon execution of purchase agreement take precedence over printed material. Property is offered in it's As-is where is condition with all faults. There shall be no warranties of condition expressed or implied. All information provided is from reliable sources, but not guaranteed by auctioneer/seller.
By placing a bid, you are entering into a contractual agreement with the seller to purchase item(s) should you be the highest bidder. Failure to follow through with your role in the transaction will result in negative consequences up to and including legal action to recoup damages caused to seller due to breach of contract.
Online Bidding
This is a timed, Online-only Auction; the highest bid online when the bidding closes will be the winning bid for the item.
This auction will incorporate a "SOFT CLOSE". Bidding within the last 4 minutes before the closing of an item will extend the bidding time by an additional 4 minutes. This prevents individuals from placing a bid on an item at the last second in order to prevent others from bidding more.
Items Sold "As Is, Where Is"
All items are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with no warranty or guarantees, expressed or implied, by the seller or Hallberg Auction. Bidders accept all auction items/property "WITH ALL FAULTS", whether or not immediately apparent. It is strongly recommended that bidders thoroughly inspect items before placing a bid. Items are described as accurately as possible, but do not represent any guarantee by the seller or Hallberg Auction. By placing a bid, bidder signifies that they have inspected the item to their satisfaction.
