2018 Kenworth Pothole Patch Truck
2018 Kenworth K370 CONVENTIONAL CAB, 6.7L L6 DIESEL. - Pohole Patch truck by BergKamp. Model SP5-BA.
This 2018 Kenworth truck was purchased new by the City of Richmond in 2018. The truck is designed and works to allow a single operator to fill a pothole from the convenience of the cab.
Joystick controls allow the 1) hole clean out with compressed air, 2) spray line the hole with tar, and 3) fill the hole with crushed stone. The City paid over $220K for this truck and a sister truck (stil in the fleet).
The truck has very little use and is no longer being used in the fleet.
It comes with a Paccar PX-7 motor coupled with an Allison 2500 RDS 6 speed AT. The body attached is a BergKamp SP5 Spray Patcher containing a Kubota V1505 diesel motor and Riello 40 oil burner. In addition is a Kaiser Omega Compressor.
GVW is 33,000lbs.
