This is the first part of this Once-In-A-Lifetime auction item that America's Auctioneer Myers Jackson is offering. Hearing Hershel "Woody" Williams share with you his memories of the battle. You will certainly be in awe listening to his stories. From beginning to end Woody will hold your attention not only with his recollections but also his contagiously energizing personality. Woody will keep you at the edge of your seat eagerly waiting to hear more and what happened on the battlefield February 23rd, 1945.
Be Prepared, from 5-6pm on Friday, November 9th everyone is invited to enjoy a reception and meet and greet with Woody Williams in the lounge area. This opportunity is for all who wish to meet Woody. An hour prior to the winning bidder's dinner to shake the hand of this last living Medal of Honor recipient from the Battle of Iwo Jima. But only 4 can join Woody for Dinner and you must be the winning bidder for the Auction Item " Dinner With Woody Williams"
As a matter of fact, Woody is the last living Medal of Honor recipient from the Battle of Iwo Jima. In October of 1945 Woody received the military's highest and most prestigious decoration-the Medal of Honor. Awarded to Woody for "conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty… on that day of February 23rd, 1945".
Also during your meal at Bob's Steak and Chop House with this Hero, hear about his non-profit foundation www.hwwmohf.org. Woody will tell you all about how he began the foundation and its mission. As well as about the Gold Star Monuments going up in cities all over the country.
Then listen as he tells you about the grand opportunity to do the coin toss at this year's Superbowl LII. As well as attending the Christening ceremony of the Navy ship recently named for him, the USNS Hershel "Woody" Williams.
