Lloyd was born on Mar 24 1950. He was the only son of Lois and Bob Arnold and had 2 sisters. One was 2 years older and one was 14 years younger He went to school in Dresden and graduated from gr 13 and then went on to the University of Guelph and graduated with a Masters degree in Crop Science. Our parents passed away 7 months apart in 1975 so Lloyd took over the Family farm growing corn and soybeans He grew tomatoes for Heinz from 1977 to 2013. He was a director on the Ontario Vegetable Growers Board for approximately 5 years He was married to Elaine from 1995 to her death in 2011.they built the new house in1995 and tore down the farmhouse we grew up in. The large shop was built in 1997 and small shop added in 2008 He was very talented in fabrication of any machinery. He enjoyed tools of all sorts.
