AUCTION TODAY-Selling the estate contents of the late Liz Olimpio. Liz was well know in the doll world. An avid collector that was seen at many New England auctions and shows. She had an eclectic taste and collected some very unique items. The family asked us to liquidate the contents of her home. Included in the sale are many antique dolls, doll accessories and parts, antiques, furniture, glass, china and more .Liz spent her entire life giving to others. While living in New York, Liz took in Foreign Exchange students and her desire to help others continued as she provided a home to foster children through the years. In 1968 when Liz moved to New Hampshire she quickly engaged with the town of Wakefield. Liz was a substitute teacher at the Paul School, served on the School Board for several years, and held many town offices including Selectman, Overseer of the Poor and EMT. She was also Chairman of the Greater Wakefield Resource Center and was proud to be awarded Wakefield Citizen of the Year in 2012. Liz balanced her time between the town of Wakefield while working as a Real Estate agent for 20 years and was a highly accomplished Antique Doll Dealer and restorer spanning 50 years, until 2017. She loved travelling across the country attending antique shows and auctions. Liz served as a New Hampshire State Representative of Carroll County for five terms, sitting on the Environmental, Agriculture and Budget Committees. Liz was an active and dedicated member of the United Methodist Church of Sanbornville for 50 years. During these years she served as Lay Leader, fundraiser, choir director, organist and treasurer. Her most recent accomplishment was establishing a summer breakfast program for children.
