If you wish to pay with a card other that the card on file with Proxibid, you should let us know before the end of the auction to avoid a delay. There will be a $25 fee for charging through any means other than Proxibid.
All items will be shipped within 48 hours of payment, often 24 or less. We are usually working on invoicing as we package winning bids so that we can have your bids shipped to you quickly with an accurate shipping cost.
Paid total includes the amount paid for each lot, buyer's premium, applicable tax, handling/box fee and applicable shipping fee and insurance.
If you choose to pick up your winning bids instead of having them mailed, please contact us through email or phone BEFORE the end of the auction to avoid any accidental charges. Pickup in Lewisburg, PA during store hours is free. Pick-up in Lock Haven during store hours is free. Pickup in Ringwood, NJ is also free. If you are in between or nearby, feel free to contact us for other options. We can deliver for an agreed upon fee.
PA residents will be charged a 6% sales tax unless you send Merchant's Wares a REV-1220 Pennsylvania Exemption Certificate, which we will keep on file for future auctions. NJ Residents will be charged NJ Sales tax. You can register your Sales Tax ID with Proxibid, and PA AND NJ residents with a number on file with Proxibid will not be charged sales tax.
If you prefer to use your own shipper, you may choose to pick up your items in Lewisburg, PA at Silver Moon Antiques and Consignment Barn, or in Hewitt, NJ or in Lock Haven, PA. Merchant's Wares has several locations and the auctioneer travels regularly between them. Items are shipped from 17837, Lewisburg, PA or nearby. We are often on the road, text messages are often the fastest method of contact to the aucitoneer 201-694-2773 - If you want an option other than USPS Priority Mail for shipping, we appreciate it if you would contact Merchant's Wares before the auction, even if you are unsure if you will win an item.

A selection of lots are available for preview in Lewisburg, PA. Merchant's Wares endeavors to provide detailed pictures, adequate and accurate descriptions. There is NO live portion of this auction, but we do offer a gallery space for inspection when possible. You may also choose to pick up your winning bids in Lewisburg during store hours, in Lock Haven, PA during store hours, or in Ringwood, NJ during store hours on Thursday, Friday or Saturday 11-5.
ALL Pick-ups must be made within one week of full payment, or holding/storage charges will be incurred. If items are not picked up within 2 weeks, they may be resold, with no refund to the original bidder. Special arrangements for large orders or certain circumstances may be made with the auctioneer directly, BEFORE the end of the auction.
Box/Handling Fee - This fee covers materials and time needed to package your items safely including (and not limited to) boxes, bubblewrap, foam peanuts, foam packaging, tape, labels, etc.
We want you, our bidders, to be happy with your purchases. If you are not sure about an item and want more information, please ask! There are NO returns and NO refunds. We will do our best to provide you with information, and if needed, will announce the additional information in the announcement sections.
Fees for items not picked up in a timely manner are $5 per day per item, which will be incurred starting 9 days after original invoice was sent.
