Want to sell? Open Consignment Drop-Offs are every Wednesday from 11-1 and 2-6 and from 12-3 on Mondays. We can also pick up consignments from you, pick through your basement, garage, house or barn, or purchase entire estates. Let us know your specific needs!

Notes on firearm sales and purchases: 

Additionally, Mayer Auction Company LLC is licensed federal firearms dealer. Do not take chances by consigning with auction houses that do not hold FFLs. If they are taking possession of the guns on consignment and do not have an FFL, they are violating Virginia code and guns could be seized. We offer special consignment rates for higher quality guns and coins whether we are selling in our live sale or our online HiBid sales.

All of our gun sales follow federal and Virginia laws. If you purchase a firearm, you will need to pass a background check. We can do those on site for $22.00 (includes background check fee, paperwork fee, and a gun lock). We do background checks for Virginia residents only. We can SHIP to an FFL if you are from another state.
