The closing time of a lot is extended by 2 minutes when a bid is received on that lot in the last 2 minutes. It also eliminates sniper bidding, where a bidder places a bid in the very last seconds of an auction to prevent others the opportunity to respond to the bid. STAGGER: There is a 30 second stagger between each lot. The first lot will begin ending at the designated time, the second lot 30 seconds later, and so on.
