If you selected “Shipping”, your auction lot will be moved to the CT shipping area for preparation, and you will receive an email and text from ShippingSaint.com with a separate invoice for shipping, handling and materials when the auction lot(s) are ready for delivery/shipping. Additionally, if payment for the shipping and handling invoice is not received after 3 days of issuing the separate invoice, the auction lot(s) will be forfeited, and bidding privileges may be revoked. Local delivery may be available starting at a minimum charge of $50 depending on size of auction lot(s), need to disassemble and/or reassemble, and distance traveled to and from the delivery location. This is the method with the “default” button checked. It is the buyer’s obligation to ensure that a valid payment method has been selected as the “default” payment method. Receipts are emailed from CTBids.com to winning Bidders once the sale has completely closed and payment is secured. If total payment is not received by Caring Transitions (CT) within 16 hours of specific auction sale closing time, CT reserves the right to resell your winning auction lot(s) to the next highest bidder or dispose of the winning auction lot(s) at CT discretion. Additionally, CT will initiate suspension of your account and bidding privileges from the CTBids.com system. Total amount must be paid in full before receiving a receipt for auction lot(s) won. If you are a NEW bidder with this office, or a winner of high value items and request shipping, you may be requested to provide a government issued ID that matches the delivery address in the invoice. In some cases, payment with Zelle or certified cashier's check maybe requested. Additionally, an up to 2-week delay in shipping may be imposed to ensure payment clears. Shipping will be insured and require signature receipt. If you bid and cannot pick up your item, you will be charged a disposal fee of $50, this is because the owner will then have to pay to dispose of the item.
