Please keep in mind this is a Returned Merchandise Auction. Items could be missing parts, damaged, not the exact item in the box or nothing wrong at all. While we do our best to inspect items, we cannot inspect all items. All items are sold "AS IS" and are FINAL SALE. REFUNDS will only be considered in the case of gross misrepresentation of item details, and/or complete non-functionality. Refund claims MUST be made within 4 days of auction close by emailing Edmonton@rightsideauctions.com NOTE: Refund settlements are granted as auction credits which can be used at any future actions and the decision to grant such refunds, remains at the sole discretion of Rightside Auctions. Note: Items with 'Sold as Is' written in the lot details, are absolutely non-refundable. Please exercise caution when bidding on these items. Please be aware that many of the items we sell require assembly and is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Buyers are strongly encouraged to review the details of any lot they intend to bid on. Bids cannot be retracted. Be aware that photographs may differ slightly from the actual item(s). Where there is conflicting information between the item(s) details and the photograph, the posted written details prevail. CLAIMS No claims regarding goods purchased will be allowed. Bidders are reminded that all goods are sold on an 'as is, where is' basis, with all faults. PERSONAL & PROPERTY RISK The Buyer expressly agrees to indemnify and save Rightside Auctions and their Sellers/Consignors harmless from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damage or liability, directly or indirectly caused by or resulting from an act, including negligent acts or omissions of Rightside Auctions, or anyone acting on his/her behalf in connection with or arising out of an auction. ADDITIONS & DELETIONS We reserve the right to remove and/or add lots and/or items to the sale at any point during the auction. RESERVE Seldom are items sold with a reserve. If an item is being sold with a reserve, it will be clearly marked and identified. For items sold with a 'reserve', you will be required to pay a minimum amount in order to enter a bid. Any reserves are between the consignor & the auctioneer and are subject to the consignor's approval. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid at their sole discretion. AUCTION RECORDS In the unlikely event of a dispute, you agree to accept as true the information that we have in our records. ONLINE BIDDING For online bidding, please keep in mind that the connection to the internet is not absolutely reliable. Connection problems can happen between or within our office, between or within the software servers, and/or between or within bidders and potential bidders. We cannot be held responsible for any of the above possible issues, or for your bids not making it into the system. SOFT CLOSE Items close at regular intervals. To prevent a bidder from 'sniping' all bids made in the last minute of the auction will force an item to stay open for an additional 2 minutes. This will continue until all bidding has ceased. STRATEGY We recommend that all bidders put in their maximum bid when placing a bid online. This does not mean you will have to pay the maximum amount you bid; you only pay one bid more than the next highest bid, and only up to your maximum bid. The software system will play out the bids as you would at a live auction and only uses the funds required to beat out the under-bidder at the prescribed bid increment. CATALOGUE ERRORS & OMISSIONS Written and oral descriptions are the opinions of Rightside Auctions and should in no way be construed as a guarantee of any kind as to authenticity, age, model, make, materials, condition or any other feature of items being sold. Rightside Auctions attempts to catalog every lot correctly and will attempt to point out any defects but will not be responsible or liable for the correctness of the catalog, item descriptions or pictures within. Questions regarding item(s)/lots can be asked by emailing Edmonton@rightsideauctions.com. Questions will only be answered if received at least 24 hours prior to applicable auction closing. By placing a bid, in any capacity, you signify that you have examined the items as fully as you desire and have had the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers from Rightside Auctions that you deem adequate. If you are not satisfied with the information provided regarding any items or lots, do not bid on the item(s)/lot in question. All items are sold on an 'as is, where is' basis, with all faults. Any listed retail values and/or prices are approximations only. It is your responsibility to do your own due diligence in researching values. Buyers are strongly encouraged to review the details of any lot they intend to bid on. Bids cannot be retracted. Be aware that photographs may differ slightly from the actual item(s). Where there is conflicting information between the item(s) details and the photograph, the posted written details prevail. PRIVACY POLICY Your personal information is collected through our contact forms only. Please contact us at Edmonton@rightsideauctions.com to request to be removed from our email list. All items sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with all faults. CONDITIONS OF ITEMS SOLD & OUR ONLINE CATALOGUE Our very best efforts are made to ensure all items are represented accurately in the photographs and descriptions; however, all items are ultimately sold on an 'as is, where is' basis, with all faults. Bidders are strongly encouraged to read the full description of each lot prior to placing any bid. No responsibility is assumed by Rightside Auctions or the seller for any errors or omissions. This auction is part one of a specialty alcohols auction. A rare collection of alcohol bottles dating as far back as 1936. Each bottle was purchased and obtained by a very special priest, who loved to travel. Msgr. Jack Hamilton. As a priest for 62 years, Father Jack was a Pastor in 6 parishes within the Catholic Archdioceses. He would purchase bottles from countries he visited and typically date the time of purchase on the bottom of each bottle. Father Jack passed away November 2024. As per his wishes, all of his proceeds from this auction will be donated to the Catholic Archbishop of Canada's Diocese Retirement Fund For Priests. (archbishop emeritus) Almost every bottle in his collection, is sealed. There are some bottles, of age, that have experienced evaporation to some degree but still remains sealed. Please note: some contents may not be suitable for consumption. Do so at your own risk. If you have any questions regarding this Auction don't hesitate to reach out to Courtney @ 403 992-5443
