TERMS
These are the Terms and Conditions of Sale for this online auction. They consist of this introduction and twenty-five numbered paragraphs that outline the relationship between you (“the Bidder”) and Game 7 Auctions. Throughout these Terms and Conditions, the terms “Auctioneer,” “we,” “us,” and “our” will refer to the Auctioneer, and the terms “you” and “your” will refer to the Bidder. Placing a bid in any of our auctions will certify that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Such certification will function as your legal and binding electronic signature. If you choose to make this certification, these Terms and Conditions will become binding both on you and on the Auctioneer, and all parties will be expected to abide by the Terms and Conditions if any issues arise in connection with this sale.
1. Registration: To gain access to the Auctioneer’s bidding system, you will need to complete registration. You must be eighteen years old or older to register. You agree that all information that you provide during the registration process will be true and accurate. You will be banned from participation in the Auctioneer’s auctions indefinitely, should you provide any false information during the registration process.
2. Bidder’s Duty to Update Information: Whether you are a new or returning bidder, you agree that if any of the information associated with your bidder number – including contact information and credit card information – changes at any time prior to, during, or after this sale, you will notify the Auctioneer of the change by updating your bidder profile.
3. Conduct of Sale: All deposits, bids, and credits in this sale will be made in United States Dollars. You agree not to use any hardware, software, program, or system that would interfere with the orderly conduct of this sale.
4. Bidder’s Duty to Inspect and Investigate: You acknowledge that the Auctioneer is providing you with the opportunity to inspect the items being offered for sale in this auction. The Auctioneer strongly encourages you to schedule an inspection for this auction. If you are unable to preview the items in person or are in doubt about the condition, completeness, or suitability of a given item, please bid accordingly.
Photographs and Descriptions: The Auctioneer regularly posts item descriptions and photographs to aid bidders in the bidding process, and we make every effort to ensure that the descriptions and photographs that we post accurately represent the items being offered for sale. We have provided a guideline of condition for some of the ungraded items in the auction (VG, VG , EX, NM). However, this is our opinion of the condition of the items and not a guaranteed determination as may be made by a grading service. Be sure to preview each item prior to the sale and let your eye be your guide. You agree that your failure to inspect or otherwise become fully informed about the items offered for sale in this auction will not be grounds for a refusal to pay amounts due to the Auctioneer, nor for any claim against the Auctioneer.
5. WARRANTY AND CONDITION OF ITEMS SOLD: ALL LOTS AND ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH ALL FAULTS, AND WITH NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES. NO ACTION TAKEN BY THE AUCTIONEER OR ITS AGENTS WILL OR IS INTENDED TO CREATE ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANY AS TO ANY LOT OR ITEM IN THIS SALE. THE AUCTIONEER SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR USE, CONFORMITY WITH ENVIRONMENTAL LAWS OR REQUIREMENTS, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, TITLE, OR ANY OTHER STATUTORY OR COMMON LAW WARRANTY. IT IS BELIEVED THAT ALL DESCRIPTIONS ARE ACCURATE, BUT DESCRIPTIONS ARE NOT GUARAUNTEED.

Game 7 Auctions is proud to partner with Safe Berks to offer a Super Bowl LIX package. The package includes two tickets to Super Bowl LIX, round trip airfare for two on Southwest Airlines, and a one night stay for two at L’Auberge Baton Rouge. The auction begins Monday, January 27, 2025 and ends with a soft close at 10 PM on Sunday, February 2, 2025. To register as a bidder, go to Game7Auctions.com. It will be the only auction on the site for that week.
Safe Berks is a Reading, Pennsylvania based non-profit organization that serves all victims and/or survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault. All of their services are free of charge (with the exception of Bridge House), available in English and Spanish, and completely confidential. They are trauma informed and culturally competent. Their facilities are welcoming and open to all who need them.
This auction hopes to serve as a major source of revenue for Safe Berks. The tickets were donated by the National Football League (NFL), while private donors provided the airfare and night at the hotel. Game 7 Auctions has also waived their consignor’s fee so that 100% of the final hammer price for this auction will go to Safe Berks. There will be a 15% buyer’s premium added to the final price to offset the cost of advertising this auction.
Super Bowl tickets are perhaps the most coveted tickets in the sports world. Very few actually make their way into the public realm. A small percentage are available for sale through the NFL, but they usually get swallowed up by ticket brokers. Another small percentage is made available through a random lottery. About a third of the tickets are distributed among the teams in the conference championships, roughly 5% go to the host city (New Orleans this year), and the remaining very small percentage is split evenly among the rest of the NFL teams. Suffice it to say, demand far exceeds supply. As a result, the mark-up on the resale of Super Bowl tickets can reach absurd numbers.
As with any tickets for any event, the main driver of the variation in price is location, location, location. Tickets on the 50-yard line command a far greater premium than tickets in the upper deck of the end zone. The NFL is still holding these tickets, so the seat location is unknown at press time, but the belief is that will be known by the start of the auction. If not, it will certainly be known by auction’s end.
At press time, the Super Bowl match-up will be the Philadelphia Eagles or the Washington Commanders versus the Kansas City Chiefs or the Buffalo Bills. Better match-ups certainly command higher ticket prices than less-desired match-ups, and any combination of the final four teams this year will hold strong appeal. But as a Reading, PA based auction house partnering with Safe Berks, the Philadelphia Eagles would be a far-bigger draw than the Washington Commanders. By the start of the auction, the Super Bowl teams will be set.
Currently the lowest priced Super Bowl ticket on the ticket aggregator Tick Pick is a shade under $6000, so two tickets ($12,000 low end value) with airfare ($800 value) and a night at the hotel ($500 value) creates a significant potential windfall for Safe Berks. |
