Description of Horses (Please view listing photographs)

Gigi is a gorgeous 9-year-old Molly Mule (female). Pat Parelli made arrangements to buy her when she was one-month-old at a horse fair in Minnesota. She and her mother were part of a breed demonstration, and when Pat saw this beautiful month-old-Mule that had such fabulous action and extraordinary movements, he purchased her and made arrangements to receive her when she was weaned. She is super sweet, extraordinarily smart, and loves to have the inside of her big ears loved on! She has a lot of stamina, and we think that she would make a great endurance Mule, or to be ridden on a working ranch where she has lots of country to cover. In addition to Pat, many people have exclaimed, "She is the most beautiful Mule I have ever seen!"

Guapo is a 3 year old unregistered Quarter Horse gelding that ticks all the boxes of a dream horse in the making. The word “Guapo” means handsome in Spanish. And not only is he handsome with a great conformation, but he is also super friendly to everyone and has a great attitude. He would make a fantastic cutting or ranch versatility prospect for the rider that can take the time to develop his talent. Great out on trails, on a cow or in the arena, Guapo is an easy horse to get along with and a ton of fun for every rider. (P.S. He can be registered with AQHA.)

Lewis is a gorgeous 5 year old American Quarter Horse whose registered name is “Lopen All Night Long”. He is kind spirited, super intelligent, built like a model and rides like a dream! He is truly the complete package. He is extremely sensitive to the rider’s aids yet calm and brave. Thoughtful and clever, yet eager to please. If you take the time to teach him something new softly, he owns it by the next ride and appears as if he’s been doing it all his life. His gaits are smooth and easily adjustable with just your seat, allowing you to jog in place, long trot across the ranch, or safely enjoy his rocking horse lope. This special horse will make his rider look the part in any arena.

Q or “Cupid” as we call him, is a 14-year-old warmblood gelding with a teddy-bear disposition. He has a sweet and gentle spirit, and has been in the Parelli Program for four years, where he has been ridden by several of our Instructors who have all loved him. He is a big boy, but is well-built for English Pleasure riding, enjoys the adventure of trail rides, and is willing to jump. With his friendly disposition and strong build, he would make the perfect partner for a novice to intermediate rider who is looking for a lifelong companion inside the arena and out. Q is very easy and safe to ride making him an excellent confidence builder who would do well in most homes. He knows lateral maneuvers and flying lead changes—allowing him great potential to be a true partner in and out of the competition arena. Q loves cookies and is excited to find his dream home with someone who wants a family horse who is both safe and lovable

.

Tazzy Parelli’s Squaw Candy aka "Tazzy" is a 7-year-old mare that was born and raised at the Parelli Center. She is by Sailing Smart, who was a several times World Champion Reining Horse, had more medals than any horse in North America, and was on the top 10 junior sire list in three disciplines: Reining, Cutting, and Reining Cow Horse. Tazzy is out of our top Cutting mares, Money Girl. Tazzy has been through the entire Parelli Program, and has made the trip back-and-forth to our campus in Colorado several times. We have also competed with her several times in cutting competitions. We gave her the barn name of Tazzy because when she was a little baby, she was feisty like the Tasmanian Devil when we first started her halter training! She’s a lot of horse, but Caton, Pat's handicap son, rides her daily, and has competed on her in Cutting competitions. We have also done a lot of Ranch work with her (gathering and doctoring cattle). She is the perfect horse for someone who wants a performance-grade, medium to high spirited mare with a really great pedigree that can also trail ride, do ranch work, and knows the Parelli Program.

Professor is a 6-year-old Florida Cracker Mustang, who grew up wild on the Florida Prairie and made himself the star of the show at our 2023 wild horse taming event at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida—Showcasing the start of this horse and seven others. Cracker Horses, known as Florida’s Mustangs, originated when the Spanish Conquistadors first arrived on US soil. This is why some of the horses look very much like Andalusians. Therefore, there’s no surprise why Professor is the perfect model looking like a miniature Andalusian! Having been raised in the wild gives him all the advantages of knowing where his feet are in all types of terrain. We now ride Professor all over the ranch, out on trails, over jumps and through water. He’s also traveled around to events where he did demonstrations. He would make the perfect jumping pony or partner for a smaller rider who loves speed events.

Reggie is a friendly and outgoing 3 year old Left Brain Introvert, unregistered Quarter Horse gelding with fantastic confirmation and breeding foundation. He would make an excellent ranch versatility, reining, or reined cow horse prospect. He is a talented horse that moves well and has smooth gaits. Reggie is a kind horse with a can-do attitude that will truly be a delight to partner with for pleasure or competitive riding in the future. (P.S. He can be registered with AQHA.)

Yellow Fellow is named for his striking palomino coat. He is an 8 year old Florida Cracker Mustang, who grew up wild on the Florida Prairie and was a part of our 2023 wild horse taming event at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida. Mustangs are known for being hearty horses and this little Florida Cracker Mustang is no exception. He’s kind, sensitive and loves attention. How far he’s come in such a short time is remarkable. We ride him everywhere now! He will move cows, take you swimming in the pond, is a fun partner in the arena and out on the trail. Yellow Fellow has been used by students in many courses and is always a crowd favorite. He would do best with an individual who enjoys his sweet and sensitive disposition.
