~1949 STUDEBAKER 2R SERIES PICKUP~
Through The Vine Auctions, LLC is honored to offer at auction this incredible 1949 Studebaker Pickup on behalf of the family of the late Ray Taft. This beautiful truck was purchased new in 1949 by Mr. Blake Taft. It was used by his son (Ray Taft), as he took his driver's license test that very year, at age 16. When Mr. Taft passed away in 1962, the truck was left to Ray, who stowed it away in the barn, up on blocks, to keep it from becoming the family's farm truck. Sometime in the 1990's, Ray had the truck restored to its former glory; after which he only took it out for a spin during the occasional Christmas Parade through town. We couldn't imagine a better vehicle for your ride down memory lane!
PREVIEW: This gorgeous green truck will be made available to the public for inspection on Saturday, September 21st, between the hours of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. LOCATION: See website for preview location. Address will be posted on the day before preview. Located in Madison, Alabama. ENDS: The bidding for this spectacular Studebaker will begin ending @ 5:00 PM on Saturday, September 28th. PICKUP: The purchaser will be given 2 weeks (14 days) to arrange for the transport of the vehicle from where it is currently being stored (Madison, AL.) PAYMENT: To be made by wire transfer only.
