LIVE CATALOG: VIEW/BID IN REAL TIME AS AUCTION IS CLOSING WITHOUT THE NEED OF REFRESHING
Live Catalog Option Allows You to Watch the Whole Auction as It Is Closing, Just Like A Live Auction. No Need to Refresh!
This feature is available, starting at 5:30 on the day the auction closes. When there is 30 Minutes Left Before the Auction Begins Closing, a New Catalog Option Will Appear! To View this Auction Closing in Real Time, you will Click on the Flashing Button "Live Catalog" When You Click This Button You Will Get A View Similar to The One Shown Here. Auction Lots Are Set to Stagger Close, Meaning That They Don't All End at Once. In the Live Catalog You Can Watch the Whole Auction as It Is Closing, Just Like A Live Auction.
We Also Use A Feature Called "Soft-Close". This Feature Allows Bidding on a Lot to Extend If Bidding Picks Up Near the Close by Adding Three Minutes Time to The Lot for Every Bid That Occurs While There Is Less Than Three Minutes Left to Bid. Meaning, that Bidding on a Lot Stays Open as Long as Someone Keeps Bidding!
The Live Catalog Is A Great Way To Enjoy The Excitement Of A Live Auction From The Comfort Of Your Own Home. View Lot# 5a for Information on this feature (This feature is available, starting at 5:30 on the day the auction closes).
PRACTICE BIDDING LOT
This lot is used for test bidding and to place sample and practice bids. Feel free to bid on this lot, these are sample bids only.
MAX BID AMOUNT
If you are not going to be available when the auction ends you can place a max bid. You can enter the highest amount you are willing to pay and the computer will automatically bid up to your max amount in the increments specified. EXAMPLE 1. If the bid is at $20 and if you put in a $250 max bid, you would be the high bid at $21, provided no one else has placed a higher bid. If the auction ends at $21 you would be the winner at $21, It would take someone else to bid against you to increase your bid. EXAMPLE 2. If the bid is at $20 and your max bid is $250 and someone else has placed a bid of $150, then your bid would be advanced to $151. And if the auction ends at $151 that is what you pay, not $250. It takes someone to bid against you to advance your bid, just like a live auction.
