The Knights of Pythias was founded in Washington DC in 1864 by Justus H. Rathbone. Based on the story of Damon and Pythias in Greek history. The swords today are used in ceremonies. The FCB letters in the cross guard stand for "Friendship, Charity, Benevolence". The blade is 30" long and adorned with engravings. The pommel is a knight's head with a lion on the helmet signifying Knighthood, the highest rank. The scabbard is polished SS with bronze fixtures for the locket and chape. 23

This is the creed of the Knights Templar - "Nothing for us, Lord, nothing for us but for the glory of thy name." The No. 4 Mk. II* was a further simplified version, with the socket and blade two separate forgings. This lowered costs and allowed manufacture by subcontractors. This also disbursed production, mitigating the risk of production being interrupted by bombing. Two-piece construction gives the No. 4 Mk. Super Knife
This knife has a 2 1/4" blade with a partial serrated edge and a thumb stud. The blade has a locking feature and the knife has a belt cutter incorporated into the handle. It also has a glass break pin on the end of the handle. The handle is aluminum with a diamond pattern texture and it has USMC medallion in the grip on one side and a belt clip on the other side. Appears to be new in the box. 152
Smith & Wesson Homeland Security Knife
This S&W knife has a 3 3/4" Sheep Foot blade that has a thumb stud for easy opening and blade lock. The blade is coated and textured with the Smith & Wesson Homeland Security etched into the blade.The grip is G10 with the S&W medallion in one side and a belt clip on the other side. It appears to be unused in the original box. 153
