There is a 15% buyer's premium on this auction. All pieces are sold as is where is. Due to museum rules, trout will not leave the night of auction. You may pick up your trout Friday May 17th at the City of Columbia Parks and Recreation building.
Payment- No out of state credit cards. We will take cash, in state credit cards, certified check, and bank transfer.

Jump into this exciting trout auction. The Columbia Streams Art public art program trout auction. This initiative is a fun way for local artists and community members to share their talent with the city. There are 35 amazing trout in this collection. Each of Columbia, SC high schools and colleges received one fish to decorate and the rest have been painted by talented local artists. Standing 6 feet tall these pieces are very impressive. Preview at the Columbia City Museum of Art May 6-15 in the Salon on the main floor. The preview is free to the public. We will be taking online absentee bids unil 4:00pm on May 15th. Please bid your highest and best as you will be bidding againist a live auction at the musuem on May 15th. Winners can pick up their piece Friday May 17th at the City of Columbia Parks and Recreations building in Earlwood Park. Due to rules of the museum, the trout can not be removed the night of auction.
