Auction Terms & Conditions Online Only Auction - Bidding will start to close Wednesday December 20th at 6:00 p.m. (soft close in effect) FEES: 17% Buyers Premium plus HST, plus $0.45 handling fee is applied for each item. PAYMENT: All items must be paid for by 12 pm the day following the auction. If you are the successful bidder we will assume you are paying by credit card and we reserve the right to charge your credit card for the total invoice. We run credit cards the morning after each auction and you will be emailed a copy of your receipt by 10 am that day. If you want to pay by e-transfer, debit, cash, etc. you MUST write this in the "notes to auctioneer" prior to registering for each auction. If we have not received the alternate form of payment by 12 pm the day following the auction we will charge the credit card on file. E-transfers are to be sent to darren@mckenzieauction.com. We have auto deposit. Once the e-transfer is received we will send you a paid receipt. BIDDERS ARE REPONSIBLE FOR PAYING FOR THEIR PURCHASES AND MAKING PAYMENT THE DAY AFTER THE AUCTION. IF A BIDDER DOES NOT PAY FOR THEIR ITEMS THEY BID ON, THE BIDDER WILL BE BLOCKED FROM BIDDING IN THE FUTURE. THE OUTSTANDING INVOICE WILL ALSO BE SENT TO A COLLECTIONS AGENCY FOR THE LOSS OF COMMISSION AND LOSS OF BUYERS FEE OF THE ITEMS. We do not accept alternate forms of payment over the phone due to previous fraud. PICK UP: 2995 Page Street London, ON - Curbside pick-up (2-day pick-up only) Thursday (10 am - 6 pm) & Friday (10 am - 5 pm). (We will be closed Saturday December 23rd) Immediately after the auction date. Any items not picked up during the specified pick-up dates and times will be considered abandoned and will be resold for storage fees. We will hold items for a maximum of 1 week from the date of the auction (items are NOT available after this time). Inspect all items prior to leaving the premise. Make sure you have ALL items. SHIPPING: If you would like your items shipped, please put "shipping required" in the "notes to auctioneer" upon registration for each auction. We are not able to give shipping quotes ahead of time as it is based on the location / size / weight of the item(s) once they are processed for shipping. Our MINIMUM shipping charge is $22.60 and it goes up from there. If you request shipping and then decide to cancel shipping AFTER it has already been processed there will be an admin fee of $16.95 charged for the work required to process the shipment. Unless told otherwise in writing, all shipments will be sent to the address you have on file. You are responsible to keep this up to date. We do not ship to US bidders. RETURNS: If you have an issue with a purchased item, you must email aa@mckenzieauction.com for approval to bring the item back. All returns are subject for REVIEW before a refund is agreed to. You have one week from the date of the sale to email, get approval, and return the item. Please review items as soon as possible. If you are bringing back an item more then one week from the sale date (maximum of 30 days), you will be charged a 30% admin fee on the return. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS FOR ANY REASON MORE THAN 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF THE SALE. Please note, if a return is denied you will have 2 weeks from when you receive notification to pick the item back up. If the item is not picked up within that time frame the item will be resold for storage fees. Your credit card will not be charged unless you win. When an auction closes, all winning bidders will receive an e-mail with an attached invoice or receipt from associatedauctioneers@mckenzieauction.com. All items must be paid for by 12 p.m. the next day after an auction. REVIEWING YOUR BIDS: During an auction you can check the status of your bids at anytime. Note that no bids can be withdrawn after the auction for any reason. All items are sold as is, where is, with all faults. BIDDING NOTIFICATIONS: You can choose to be notified by e-mail during the auction if you have been outbid. Please note that outbid notifications are NOT sent out during the last two hours of the sale. PICKUPS & REMOVALS: The purchaser can pick up their items with a paid receipt. Items can not be picked up until the invoice is paid. All items must be removed by the specified removal time. Removal shall be at the expense, liability, and risk of the purchaser. We do not ship. Do not bid if you are unable to have your items picked up. Items are sold as is, where is, with all faults. Any item not picked up during the posted pickup times will be considered an abandoned item. If you abandon an item, your credit card will be charged for the purchase price of the item plus the cost to remove, transport and dispose the item. CONDITIONS OF ITEMS SOLD & OUR ONLINE CATALOGUE: Our best efforts are made to represent all items accurately in descriptions and photographs; however, all items are ultimately sold on an 'as is, where is' basis, with all faults. All bidders/buyers must be of legal age. AUCTION RECORDS: In the unlikely event of a dispute, you agree to accept as true the information that we have in our records. SOFT CLOSE: Items close at regular intervals. To prevent a bidder from 'sniping', all bids made in the last minute of the auction will force an item to stay open for an additional 2 minutes. This will continue until all bidding has ceased. STRATEGY: We recommend that ALL BIDDERS put in their maximum bid when placing a bid online. This does not mean you will have to pay the amount you bid; you only pay one bid more than the next highest bid, and only up to your maximum bid. The software system will play out the bids as you would at a live auction and only uses the funds required to beat out the under-bidder at the prescribed bid increment. CATALOGUE ERRORS & OMISSIONS: If a description does not match a picture in a lot, the description takes precedence. All items are sold on an 'as is, where is' basis, with all faults.
