Prior to his passing in 2022, Herbert Palmer established The Agnus & Russel Palmer Scholarship Fund to honor his parents and left his entire estate, including his unique car collection, to this Fund. Proceeds from each auction item will be donated the Agnes & Russell Palmer Scholarship Fund held at the Community Foundation for Northeast Michigan. The Fund awards scholarships for students who will study nursing, public health, or a medical doctor field of study, for students studying veterinary medicine, or for students attending Alpena Community College or Michigan State University. Priority for scholarships from this Fund is given to dairy farm students and those coming from farming families. |
