Auction Terms & Conditions Online Only Auction - Bidding will start to close Monday August 14th at 6:00 p.m. (soft close in effect) FEES: 17% Buyers Premium plus HST, plus $0.45 handling fee is applied for each item. PAYMENT: All items must be paid for by 12 pm the day following the auction. If you are the successful bidder we will assume you are paying by credit card and we reserve the right to charge your credit card for the total invoice. We run credit cards the morning after each auction and you will be emailed a copy of your receipt by 10 am that day. If you want to pay by e-transfer or direct deposit you MUST write this in the "notes to auctioneer" prior to registering for each auction. If we have not received the alternate form of payment by 12 pm the day following the auction we will charge the credit card on file. E-transfers are to be sent to darren@mckenzieauction.com. SOFT CLOSE: Items close at regular intervals. To prevent a bidder from 'sniping', all bids made in the last minute of the auction will force an item to stay open for an additional 2 minutes. This will continue until all bidding has ceased. STRATEGY: We recommend that ALL BIDDERS put in their maximum bid when placing a bid online. This does not mean you will have to pay the amount you bid; you only pay one bid more than the next highest bid, and only up to your maximum bid. The software system will play out the bids as you would at a live auction and only uses the funds required to beat out the under-bidder at the prescribed bid increment. CATALOGUE ERRORS & OMISSIONS: If a description does not match a picture in a lot, the description takes precedence. All items are sold on an 'as is, where is' basis, with all faults.
