All bidders MUST register with a valid ID. Registered bidders with tax exempt status shall include a copy of the tax exempt number form prior to auction registration. All purchases shall be paid in full at the close of the next business day by CASH, CASHIERS CHECK, CREDIT CARD (3% up charge) or COMPANY CHECK ACCOMPANIED by BANK'S "Letter of Guarantee". Letter of guarantee must be presented prior to the auction. All units MUST be removed from property within 3 business days after the auction or the units will be considered abandoned. There will be a 14% buyers fee charged and a $75.00 document fee on ALL DETROIT OWNED units. A fixed rate of $200.00 buyers fee and a $75.00 document fee on all NON DETROIT units. A $300.00 cash deposit MUST be paid at the time of bid. "NOTE" the $300.00 deposit is NON REFUNDABLE or NON TRANSFERABLE on sold units. Announcement made by auctioneer on the day of the auction takes precedence over any printed matter pertaining to the auction. The Auctioneer shall designate the winning bidder after each item is auctioned. If a dispute arises between two or more bidders at the time the item is being auctioned off or after the hammer has fallen the auctioneer uses his/her discretion to decide who the purchaser shall be. Or has the right to reopen the bid between the two or more bidders. EACH UNIT/ITEM/LOT IS SOLD "AS IS, WHERE IS" WITH ALL FAULTS AND DEFECTS. NO WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES TO THE CONDITION OR FITNESS OF USE ARE STATED OR IMPLIED. Bidders are responsible for closely checking each unit/item/lot and bidders are buying the unit/item/lot entirely upon their examination and opinion. Each unit/item/lot sold immediately becomes the responsibility of the buyer at the time the Auctioneer deems the unit/item/lot SOLD. The City of Detroit reserves the right to pull any units/items/lots from the sale.
