This means the auction will begin to close at 4pm with 20 seconds between each lot. The closing time of each lot will be entended automatically an additional 2 minutes when there is active bidding. LIVE IN PERSON PREVIEW: Friday, Feb 3, 3:00 - 5:00 pm at Hessney Auction Center. - PAYMENT: We will run the Credit Card you register with after the completion of the auction. * All buyers will be charged 13% buyers premium regardless of payment type. and 7.5% NYS sales tax if you are a NY buyer. If you are tax exempt you must send us a copy of your resale certificate PRIOR to auction closing, once cards are ran we cannot refund sales tax. PICK UP: Please be aware of pick up days and pick up at those times, we need items to be removed during these times so we can set up more auctions. ** Monday & Tuesday Feb. 6 and 7 from 9:30am-5:00 pm All other items left will be shipped to buyers at their expense (** Office is CLOSED THURSDAYS) *Shipping is available on autographs, Please email after auction to request with your Name and Address. SHIPPING INSURANCE: Hessney Auction Company ships via USPS and UPS with Insurance on items over $100 at the cost of the buyer through the outside company Easy Post. If you item(s) are lost/damaged, all claims MUST be made through Hessney Auction Company within 30 days of shipment. If a claim is made independently of Hessney Auction Company, all insurance is voided, and we cannot make an additional claim on your behalf. If a claim must be made, please email us and we will provide you with a detailed list of what must be included in order for us to submit it to our carrier. ** If you are tax exempt you MUST notify us prior to the close of the auction, along with a copy of the form, if not you will be charged tax. We cannot remove tax once the card has been processed. Everything is sold AS IS. WHERE IS. All Sales are Final- No Returns. Hessney Auction Co. provides ample opportunity for buyers to thoroughly inspect goods to be sold. All purchases should be made on the buyer's own recognizance. All persons bidding in absentee who have not physically inspected the goods prior to the sale are also subjected to these terms. All lots are sold "As is". There are no warranties expressed or implied, including, but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Buyer's premium will be a stated percentage and must be paid by the buyer as part of the purchase price. * This is a public auction and not a retail setting. All sales are final. These autographs are part of a large collection of thousands of sports, politics, entertainment, Academy Award Winners, Senators, Presidential, Congress, Governors, Pulitzer Prizes, Television HOF, Olympians & more. We will be selling these in the coming months by subject. This online auction includes over 300 autographs of Authors, Journalists and Cartoonists Auction Bidding ends: Sunday, Feb. 5, starting at 4:00pm * This is a staggered CLOSING. This means the auction will begin to close at 4 pm Eastern Standard time with 20 seconds between each lot. The closing time of each lot will be extended automatically an additional 2 minutes when there is active bidding. CLICK LIVE CATALOG to follow along. You will not recieve a response until the item is shipped. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We will charge your registration credit card for your purchases. Once the shipping is calculated, we will charge your card for a second time. This process is much more convenient for us. Items typically ship within 2 weeks. We do our very best as we have a small staff, which also helps keep your costs down. * All autographs shipments that are in envelopes will have no handling added. We are willing to ship any items through USPS Priority mail or UPS . The cost of shipping and insurance will be charged to the buyer's credit card. WE CANNOT GIVE QUOTES- Most autographs can ship first class in a large envelope- most are under $7.00
