Listing Information

1
1992 Buick Roadmaster Passenger Car - Clemson Tiger Limousine
Year: 1992
Make: Buick
Model: Roadmaster Limited
Vehicle Type: Passenger Car
Mileage:  89502
Body Type: 4 Door Sedan
Trim Level: S&S Coach
Drive Line: RWD
Engine Type: V8, 5.7L (350 CID)
Fuel Type: Gasoline
Transmission: Automatic
VIN #: 1G4BN5374NR411948

Features and Notes:  This is the ultimate Clemson tailgate car!  It features riding comfort for up to nine and a full Yakima roof rack for luggage or tailgating supplies.  Scroll through the photos to see this excellent limousine with S&S Coach styling - some cosmetic issues here and there but overall ready to ride to home and away games.
  • This car has an L88 Corvette engine in it because of the extraordinary weight and power needs of a 9-passenger funeral car.  It also has an overdrive transmission that enables this car to get 22 mpg on its long-distance trip to the Gator Bowl in Florida that the owner and his wife made.
  • The orange paint color is the official Clemson Orange patented color.  We paid Clemson University $40 for the color formula for the EPOXY paint.  This Imron brand epoxy paint will never fade and never needs a wax job.  (We would certainly hate to have this car fade to Tennessee Orange, right?)
  • There is an outdoor speaker system mounted under the hood that has to be activated by a toggle switch near the driver’s right knee.  An iPod is NOT required for the speaker, you can use any smartphone.  A user could download the Clemson fight song onto any phone and plug the phone in to blast out from the car.
  • There is an air conditioner in the trunk, up where the spare tire would normally be.  This A/C unit is controlled by a separate switch by the right knee of the driver.  There is also another A/C unit under the hood like any other Roadmaster.
  • There are air bag suspension shocks in the rear of the vehicle to make the travel over speed bumps at a Clemson tailgating event much easier.
  • There is a large knife-style switch under the hood near the battery that can be flipped to cut all power from the battery to any place in the car.  This saves the battery in long-term storage, and truly makes this vehicle a difficult one to steal.
