Listing Information
With cooling temparatures and changing of colors outside, we start to think about the upcoming holidays. As this auction is going on, Halloween is passing and we begin thinking of Thanksgiving. Planning get togethers with family and friends. As we discuss meals, where guests will stay, and seating arangments we need to prepare for the gathering of different personalities. That is where I come in. This week, we provide you with a list of holiday centered jokes that can be inserted throughout family visits to lighten conversation, bring a smile to that cousin that may have RBF, bring out a chuckle from that uncle that's always grumbling about something. I bring these to you early so you have plenty of time to memorize and practice. Timing is everything. Load your mind with an arsenal of corniness that can lighten even the moods of the toughest crowds. What key won't open a door? A turkey! What sound does a limping turkey make? Wobble, wobble! Why didn't the turkey want dessert? He was stuffed! Why did the turkey cross the road? He wanted people to think he was a chicken. "Knock Knock." "Who's there?" "Dewey." "Dewy who?" "Dewey have to wait long to eat?" What do you call a sad cranberry? A blueberry. Why should you never tell secrets in a cornfield? Because the corn has ears. Knock, knock! Who's there? Annie. Annie who? Annie body want pumpkin pie? Knock, knock! Who's there? Aida. Aida who? Aida lot of food and now I'm stuffed. Knock, knock! Who's there? Anita. Anita who? Anita nap, I'm stuffed! What do you get when you cross a turkey with a banjo? A turkey that can pluck itself. Why couldn't the band perform during Thanksgiving dinner? Because someone ate the drumsticks! Where on earth can you expect Christmas to arrive before Thanksgiving? In a dictionary. and finally... My family told me to stop telling Thanksgiving jokes, but I said I couldn't quit cold turkey.
