Listing Terms and Conditions
Winning Bids will be processed after close of auction and your card on file charged at that time. All items are marked IF they are available for shipping. We use USPS and sometimes UPS, never FedEx. Some may be too heavy or large to ship for a reasonable amount. If an item is damaged in shipping, you can submit a claim with your local office, we can't do it for you and accept no responsibility. Local pickup will be at the address provided for auction location, or as noted in item description. All sales are final, and on a where is/as is basis. We do our best with descriptions and pictures, if something is not clear, or you have a question, please ask. Once you have placed a bid, it is considered a binding financial contract to purchase the item if you win. If you accidentally enter a wrong number, please make contact so we can fix it. There is a 15% buyers premium, taxes are collected per WA state/county rates. Special note: Pickup times are firm as stated. With large auctions, I will not have time to make special exceptions for anyone. Simply put, if you cannot attend the pickup times, make arrangements, or have someone representing you pick up your items, they will be considered forfeit, along with your payment. If you MUST schedule a different time, you can do so with a $20 cash fee to have someone meet you.
Listing Information
Orpheum Theater Architectural Salvage from 1967, Collections, Tools, Toys, Jewelry and Watches, Local Sports, Vintage Reel to Reel Stereos and 4 Track Recorders, Unique and Unusual. Note on Orpheum Theater. Was built in Seattle 1927 and was the grandest design of famed architect Marcus Priteca. In 1967, the building was torn down, with whatever could be salvaged auctioned off to the public. The pieces we have were purchased at that auction and stored by the family safely since, with no other owners between. Some are in remarkable condition and easily displayed. Others will require crack repair or an in-situ display. They are all made from plaster, with a horsehair binding. Large pieces have wood bracing inside. Own a literal piece of Seattle's most magnificent building from the 1920s.
