Auctioneer’s Note: Mr. Boyd lived to be nearly 99 years old and was the original owner of this home. Hank served as a Military Police Officer and a small arms infantryman. Hank landed in Normandy with the 82nd Airborne Division on D-Day during World War II. He later served with the 4th Infantry Division during the Korean War. He was sent to VietNam with the 1st Infantry Division. He retired in 1969 as his unit prepared to return to Viet Nam. During his time in the US Army, Hank earned a Bronze Star, Two Purple Hearts and two Combat Infantry Badges plus numerous other awards connected with his 26 year career.You will find many German items from Mr. Boyd’s time spent deployed in the military. There are many unpacked boxes-come see what we uncover! Make plans now to attend.
