PLEASE REVIEW ALL ONLINE TERMS PRIOR TO BIDDING!
1, 15% Buyer's Premium will BE added to the final bid price to determine final selling price. ALL PURCHASES MADE BE CHARGED INDIANA SALES TAX OF 7%. SALES TAX WILL BE CHARGED ON THE HAMMER PRICE, BUYERS PREMIUM, AND 3% CREDIT CARD CHARGE. PLEASE REVIEW SHIPPING AND PAYMENT TERMS PRIOR TO BIDDING!
2. All property is sold "AS IS", and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. It is the Bidder's responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. Reed Auction may attempt to describe the merchandise in advertising, on the internet but makes no representations. In no event shall Reed Auction be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sold judge of value.
Reed Auction shall endeavor to describe in detail each item and any pertinent information about it. Reed Auction will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the merchandise unless it is a material and intentional misrepresentation of the item itself. Bidder agrees that everything is sold as is and that they may not return any item they purchase. No "Buy it Now"--All items will be run through the auction process.
3. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may and may not function correctly the day of the auction. Under no circumstances shall the bidder have any kind of claim against Reed Auction or any one else if the internet service fails to work correctly before or during the online auction. Reed Auction will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should leave their maximum bid 24 hours before the auction ends.
4. This auction features a ONE (1) minute soft close with a ONE MINUTE stagger time for each lot.
5. Reed Auction reserves the right to cancel this auction, or remove any item/lot from this auction prior to the close of bidding.
6. Reed Auction reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any reason. An accepted bid is a legal binding contract. Reed Auction reserves the right to resell any personal property that is not paid for in full by the conclusion of the stated pickup date/dates. In any such event, the bidder will still be responsible for payment for the original purchase and the costs of collection of this payment and/or damages resulting for the resale of the property.
7. Buyer and or Bidder agree to not hold accountable Reed Auction and its associates from any and all claims, damages or suits.
8. If, for any reason, Reed Auction is in default to make available or deliver any final purchase, the sole liability of Reed Auction, if any, shall be the return of any paid monies in respect of such purchase.
PAYMENT:
All purchases will be automatically charged promptly after the auction has closed with your credit card (3% charge) on file with HiBid to secure payment for each successful bidder. No cash or checks will be accepted on local pickups.
In the event of a denied credit card, the buyer will be charged an additional $20 fee and be blocked from future auctions until payment is received in full for payment for item/s.
For items that must be shipped an additional charge will be applied to the credit card once shipping costs have been determined.
Winning bidders who are TAX EXEMPT will need to email the tax certificate to the auctioneer on HiBid.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO RETURNS OR ADJUSTMENTS WILL BE MADE.
PICKUP, DELIVERY, AND SHIPPING:
1. Successful bidder will be responsible for removing the won item(s) from the address provided. Please see below on available shipping and pick-up options. Bidders are solely responsible for packing, loading, and moving all items purchased without assistance from Reed Auction. Reed Auction will NOT supply any tools, boxes or packing materials. The winning bidder on large items needs to bring help and equipment to load the item(s).
2. We encourage local pick-up (if possible).
3. For items that must be shipped an additional charge will be applied to the credit card once shipping costs have been determined.
A) PLEASE NOTE THAT PICK-UP IS TO BE SCHEDULED BY APPOINTMENT ONLY through our online Signupgenius.com calendar via email link. You will receive a link with your paid invoice.
B) For items small enough to be boxed up (jewelry, small collectibles, art, etc), will be shipped via USPS or UPS based upon cost with an additional $5 charge for packaging.
C) For heavy or larger furniture, please get a quote at uShip.com
D) The successful bidder is responsible for removing the won item(s) from the auction site within the end of pickup dates, unless prior arrangements have been made with Reed Auction at 419-681-4808. Otherwise, items will be considered abandoned property and title will revert back to the auction house (forfeited).
