Governor's Land Downsizing 56 Vintage Oak High Chair/Stroller circa 1880’s Wonderful American oak pressed back child high chair or stroller. Although meant for a child, it would also be perfect for a favorite special doll. It converts to 3 different sizes: low - 29 inch, medium - 36 inch, and high - 39.75 inch. The stroller tray lifts over the chair and becomes a handle for rolling the stroller. These were made in the US in the late 1800's to the early 1900's. The wood on the chair is beautiful tiger oak (sometimes referred to quartersawn). A little hard to find especially with the pressed back detail. These type of items did not tend to survive throughout the decades. 100 Terms & Conditions and Pick up Information All items are used and are sold in the as is condition. 3 lots per minute with close with a one minute extension. A15% buyers premium will be added to the hammer price. 7% Virginia sales tax will be added to each invoice. If you have a valid sales tax number you must email a copy to us BEFORE the auction ends.
